Took a local family member for a meal here on Friday evening. The food was superb and very tasty, with a varied choice of non alcoholic drinks to boot. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Wish we lived nearer so we could visit more often. Lovely place, fantastic food, fantastic service!

The service was again first rate, attentive and responsive. We always have good food here in very relaxing surroundings and we will be returning soon.

The food was presented to a high standard and tasted excellent. I would definitely recommend the Lamb Hotpot and the Toffee and Honeycomb Cheesecake was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will be back.

From our arrival to our departure we felt fully welcomed and cared for during our entire visit. The serving team were so kind and friendly, while still being efficient and professional. We've eaten here a few times before over several years, and so we had high expectations. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint and we all found ourselves squashing in 3 courses in our bellies! I'm a vegetarian, and it was a pleasant surprise to have some delicious options at a pub known mostly for serving quality Game. My friends enjoyed the venison burgers, and the fish and chips was a big hit too. Very happy with the whole experience (even booking online was so easy!), and we will be back soon...
