I have visited this restaurant many times and i am a regular for many years at the sister restaurant chung ying where the manager is really friendly and myself and husband have a meal their every month even travelling in from staffordshire to do so ..Food is fab and i would recommend either of these restaurants.

My daughter has food allergies, and they have kindly offered to cook separately for her - a rare and valuable gesture which is highly appreciated. Food is always delicious and service subtle and non-obtrusive. Highly recommend.
EverBright – SolihullNot impressed. We have only been to the Blake Barn once before now, and it was relatively good. However, after visiting recently we were appalled. The new managers are rude and unhelpful. They even sat at the bar DRINKING while on shift, and seemed to do little work. A particular manager, whom I think may have been called ADAM, seemed reluctant to help with our complaints and was more interested in joking around with waiting staff. The food we ordered took 45 mins to come out, and when it did it was cold and by the looks of it, MICROWAVED...and this was a steak. The establishment is shocking and I would never return. On another note, the Pub smelt damp, definitely earned the name 'Barn'.
