The Vine is my most favorite restaurant ever. The food is amazing accompanied by the best service and atmosphere. When I visit the UK we visit and enjoy so good ole hospitality. We shared a a duck pate starter which was very good I had game pie and my wife had pheasant in a white wine and garlic sauce for our main course , both were excellent. The other diners around us seemed to be having an equally good experience . An added bonus is the cosy bar for pre-dinner drinks, (nice beers) also a very welcoming log fire in the restaurant. The only disappointment was they had run out of salt marsh lamb but the game pie made up for it! The wine list was perfect for all tastes and not over priced. We will be back soon!!!

The waitress told us we could order a drink from the bar and then proceeded to walk away leaving it unattended. I checked the room and lots of tables were empty. After a few minutes a lady returned to the bar and we ordered a drink. It took a further 20 minutes for them to clean and relay a table that was empty when we arrived

All meals were very nice and tasty and hot. Very nice meal and excellent service. We will definitely be back.
