Took my parents for an Anniversary lunch and we all really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Chicken , Black pudding stack with Cheese and peppercorn sauce.

Went for the first time on Friday. Food was really nice, Guinness was a great pint. But a big shout for the staff they were so polite and efficient. Will definitely go again

Place was lovely - we had a table reserved but decided on a different one. Service was good. Very attentive waitress. Food was delicious but one drink and a meal for £11.50 seems a little bit overpriced. Maybe bottomless drinks would be a better incentive. The portions were ok - I wasn’t stuffed just nice. Would recommend and would visit again.

After numerous visits throughout summer, I like visiting The Foundry for its selection of drinks and food (food being the more important choice). Good meals at reasonable prices as well. Each time I have visited, the staff have been very welcoming and some have got to recognise me and become quite sociable. All visits have been comfortable, relaxed with a clean feel about the place as well as good ventilation. I hope to visit again soon next time I am down that way and have another enjoyable visit.

What a lovely meal, great atmosphere and very attentive staff. Will definitely be back, I struggle with menus but there was a fantastic choice for me. Very friendly place and dog friendly as well, PERFECT.

Lovely friendly staff , food god , value for money will come again

We visited on a Saturday evening. We had reserved a table and it was ready for us as soon as we arrived. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The food , when it arrived, was nice and hot and freshly cooked not to mention absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, polite, efficient and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We are thrilled to have found such a lovely place with delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere where we can also bring along our dog. Perfect 10/10

Visited The Traders on 23-8-23. I cannot praise the food and the service too highly. My, steak pie was second to none and came with the best chips and mushy peas I have tasted in a long time .I enjoyed a very nice pint of beer in a very friendly atmosphere and was well looked after by the very pleasant staff. Will be back!

Great food and lovely surroundings. We have been a few times and never been disappointed. The lunchtime menu is great value and has something for everyone. Always clean and fresh and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again.

I had a lovely meal with a friend and went for the Cheese Pie which was lovely and the second time I've had this dish, my friend had the Sunday Roast which he really enjoyed. The staff members are very friendly, the place clean and well-presented and it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Certainly recommended with a good menu and well priced meals and drinks.
