Super food. Value for money and staff friendly and efficient

Wonderful food at Solea all 8 of us throughly enjoyed it, staff friendly efficient, most had Fillet steak which was amazing, cocktails was very good as well. We booked again.

The restaurant was lovely and bright even a open fire we had starters they were lovely mains 2 of us had the cheese pie and they were delicious I’m difficult so i had fish and that was lovely as well only one of us had dessert cheesecake my husband demolished it in seconds he said it was beautiful all the staff were very helpful and friendly would definitely recommend it

Went Christmas Eve. The place is lovely. We were seated in the back room on our own at first as the restaurant was very busy. The starters were a little slow to arrive, but tasted great. Staff were very good. Will definitely return in the new year.

If you like to participate in drugs, enjoy local foul-mouthed people, then please go. No apology whatsoever for the severe damage to my car caused by a member of their staff wired on drugs. A baseball bat was used the Police tell me. CCTV eventually recovered.. Avoid, it is all a sham.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. The vegan options we had were beautifully presented and really delicious. The flavour combinations were perfect. It’s a beautiful setting with superb food- highly recommended. Excellent value and we will definitely return soon.

Went for my birthday to Solea and we had such wonderful flavoursome food from their Festive Menu. Also I would like to praise the staff for being friendly and attentive- we will certainly return in the near future.

The decor is lovely, and a lovely fire as you come in. We were sat away from the bar in the back near the windows it was a little cold, but we had a radiator by our table so wasn't too bad. We had the Festive menu, and the Food was delicious and so well presented. I had the Duck pate it was beautiful the only criticism was an extra piece of bread would have been nice as more pate than bread, and the bread was lovely. The Cheese pie was the best I have ever had, I would give it a 100/10, it look beautiful and was so light and delicious and the chips were scrumptious.. Everything was cooked to perfection, could tell quality ingredients were used, it was nice to see vegetables put on a plate, as many places see to scrap these. My friends had the Muscles and risotto and both really enjoyed their dishes and they can be hard to please. Service was great, the waiter and waitress both made sure we were looked after. I have only scored the atmosphere as 4 as we were the only ones in, being a Tuesday. Really hope they succeed and will be back in the New year to try the normal menu. Recommend going as the food is stunning.

Love this place! From the welcoming fire that greats you when you first arrive, to the lovely bar man who makes the best cocktails ever - it's a great restaurant for all occasions. We visited with friends who all throughly enjoyed it too. Our waitress was lovely and the food was absolutely gorgeous! Really full of flavour. I love to dine where there is an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs work their magic on your food. I would definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again in the future!

Had Sunday lunch yesterday. Tender roast beef, cooked to perfection with a selection of vegetables. I’m so Mark is back again. He’s done a great job of refurbishing the restaurant. Would highly recommend it.

When all aspects come together to form the perfect restaurant! Amazing food, ambience, wine, service and cocktails. 5 small plates was the perfect amount for two people. Highly recommend the halloumi, chorizo, scallops, patatas bravas and gambas pil pil. Booked already for a return visit. Do it, you won’t regret it!
