Good food, very good value, prompt and friendly service. Drinks and food ordered separately which isn’t a problem except the request for glasses of water got lost. Mushroom risotto and roast duck both very good.

Booked online it’s very quick and easy. Staff very friendly , we were seated promptly. Food excellent at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

We have been here twice recently. Food is amazing. There is a great variety. We love the fact you have a separate Vegan menu. It has got us trying new things and we have not been disappointed. Service for both food and drinks is great too, never waited more than a few minutes for drinks and we had the right amount of time between courses. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Went for lunch with my daughter. Food was great Had scallops to start that were scrumptious. Chose seabass for mains. Lovely but spoilt for me by a very under done duck egg.maybe thats how it was supposed to be but as it was far too snotty it leaked all over the plate spoiling the rest of the meal. My daughter however enjoyed a fantastic fillet steak.Staff great and friendly. Sun deck out back great so much so that in all we spent 8 hours there.

Food was absolutely delicious! Decor inside and colours spot on. View from where we ate looking out over to Darwen was pleasurable. Staff friendly, polite and professional. Three happy diners who chose the cheese pie and fish and chips and who intend to return for sure! Highly recommended.

Excellent meal and great value considering the quality. In a great looking modern pub too. Even the beer was good.

Only a small menu, but quality and taste was the best. Staff lovely and friendly too.

Lovely restaurant with good pub grub with an edge of finesse without sacrificing portion sizes or raising prizes. The view from the lower section is absolutely amazing. We later retreated to the old style cosy bar where we stayed for a good hour. Lovely decor throughout and welcoming staff you won't be disappointed!

We both had the Sunday roast and it was simply the best Sunday roast I’ve had in a pub. You can tell the difference from home made food to typical oven cooked food from brewery owned pubs. Will definitely be coming again and telling others to visit
