Harry Ramsdens – BlackpoolI get a Gulshan properly once every two weeks, there food is delicious and the portions are great like the price. I've tried a lot of different Madras curries from different curry houses and none compare to there's. I can't wait for my next one!!

Paramount Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolIgnoring the flies crawling over the food in the display cabinet, and the sickeningly unclean toilet, this is without question the worst cafe me and my gf have ever visited. We stuck to a basic choice of bacon sarnie and egg sarnie after seeing the state of the place, it was truly vile I didn't think it was possible to get such basic food so wrong. Dripping with greasy black crusty bits from a pan that obviously hadn't been cleaned properly, both items were barely cooked and plain disgusting. We left feeling ill and will not be returning to this dump.

The Cottage – BlackpoolI always like going here as you can eat and drink and look down on to the streets below in nice surroundings and for a good price. The service can be a bit erratic especially on Saturdays when we have had to wait quite some time to have our order taken, when its busy there's simply not enough staff.

Yorkshire Fisheries – BlackpoolWent into the Outside Inn on a Friday night...was surprised at how busy it was considering other pubs round here are pretty quiet at the moment! Was informed a table would be free in 5 minutes, so we were invited to wait in the bar and get a drink. Eventually got a table in the restaurant 45 minutes later. Why do they have to lie to us? they must of known it would be more than 5 mins! Then took a while to take the order and for the food to arrive....appears the kitchen was not pinging the food quick enough, rather than the waitress that was causing the delays. When the food arrived it was tasty and very good value for money! Would think twice about coming again though as we found the time waiting around unacceptable for a venue like this. PS Vegetarian Dishes are quite limited. . .if you are a veggie then make sure you like cheese!!
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolThis place is amazing for live bands, usually playing on a Thursday (your best night in here to catch all the action) they have a varied range of bands that I am always willing to come and watch. If your a local band hoping to get signed then this is the place, I have heard there are always people scouting for new talent and many of my friends bands have been found due to this fantastic place.
Blue Room – BlackpoolI have been going to this takeaway for years and I cannot fault it one bit, the pizzas are wonderfully fresh and the kebabs are to die for, I even crave one just after work before I go out! I've heard a rumour that they're opening a restaurant in the building next door between them and tesco's express (the old hampsons), if this is true I will definitely be going for a tikka massala with all my friends. Keep up the excellent work Ali :)
Alis Takeaway – BlackpoolJust came back from this pub and had a very nice lunch. Tasted better also because we had 50% off vouchers. Bargain! Huge portions, make sure you are hungry!

The Cottage – BlackpoolWe found this place by accident and weren't quite sure what to expect as you have to go upstairs. However we were really pleased that we went up. It is a very friendly place, relaxed and serves good food. We were with our young children and they really liked it. I would strongly recommend it.
