Seniors – BlackpoolAs Blackpool hoteliers, we are always on the look out for good, reasonably priced eateries to recommend to our guests. We were very fortunate to come across this little gem of a restaurant a couple of weeks back and have been back two Sundays on the trot! We were greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel very welcome from the onset, a good choice of meals including a very reasonable set menu were shown to us and we chose from the set menu. The food and service represent excellent value for money and it was a pleasure to dine here. I have no hesitation in recommending the Mandarin to anyone visiting Blackpool, we'll certainly be back!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolTop quality food served by friendly, well mannered staf in an imepeccably clean shop. Could not find a single fault. The fish was the whitest and freshest I have ever had, with very light and crispy batter. Well done to all concered, I will visit again and recomend others do too.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolThis is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever ate in (beats those in Liverpool that I have used) - the fillet steak Chinese style was exquisite along with the prawn crackers and prawn sesame toast - all washed down with a couple of pints of good Chinese lager. Me and my young daughter were made so welcome - can't praise the Mandarin highly enough.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolThe Litten Tree did exactly what it said on the tin...it was typically great value traditional food, with a few more experimental and modern dishes for those in our party who wanted something a more special. They were big plate fills, and together with the great table service we enjoyed it made for a great for a value lunch. Plus their great deals on drinks in the afternoon, which was great!!! A definite must if you're in Blackpool!! Ive also heard they have a great night time, so we'll definitely be trying out a Friday or Saturday night on our next visit to Blackpool!!
Litten Tree – BlackpoolWow. Was not the most excited person in our large group going to this restaurant earlier this summer as, being the only vegan in the village, I don't find Chinese establishments cater particularly well to my needs, not least when I am in a large rowdy group when things get loud and messy, but I HAD to write a review to say how utterly impressed I was with the care and commitment shown to me by George (I think he was the owner, and sorry if I spelt it wrong), who ensured that I was catered to and did not miss out on a thing. No more plain cabbage for me. The food was excellent, the staff all made a supreme effort, so for all other vegans and vegetarians, I can't recommend this place enough. He knew his business, (lacking so much in the restaurant trade, I am sorry to report), he knew what a vegan could and could not eat, and he was always double-checking with me, just in case I wasn't happy. Service was amazing, I left a very happy eater. And besides that, the food really was excellent, good veggie options.

Michael Wan’s Mandarin – Blackpoolwe went here on Sunday we sat outside in the sunshine, and had a mixture of dishes between 4 of us all lovely apart from the mixed grill with the bar-b-que ribs on a little over powering on the sauce other than that really nice slightly expensive for what you got but nice surroundings. Lovely inside with the water flowing under the bridge, and a really refreshing pint.
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolI visited the Lee Raj before it had its extension and after. Before the extension, I thought it was a very average restaurant with nothing outstanding. I decided to visit after the extension to the bar and I still think that although its good and I have no complaints it still looks average and tastes average.
Leeraj Indian Cuisine – BlackpoolHaving stumbled upon this restaurant during a shopping trip in Blackpool, my family and I are now regular visitors. The food is fabulous, and all freshly prepared, and it's excellent value for money (main courses average £5.00). We're slowly trying all off the dishes on the menu, and haven? yet been disappointed. The decor is nice; a bit bistro in style so more suited to relaxed, casual meal out rather than a formal/special occasion evening meal so wouldn't go too dressed up.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolThis is got to be the best chinese in Blackpool. Ok, the decor is a bit dated, but who cares when the food is outstanding, the service was so friendly and professional they just know how to make you feel welcome. I went on a Monday night and it was full house when all the nearby restaurants were empty!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolI can't remember ever seeing a fish and chip shop this clean. The staff were friendly and dressed in immaculately kept uniforms. The food was well presented in polystyrene boxes, no mess in the car, and all packaged in a quality paper bag. The food was among the best fish and chips I have ever tasted, the batter was crisp and light, cooked perfectly, the chips were chunky, crisp and not at all greasy. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Taylors to anybody who likes good quality traditional English fish and chips.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolI have eaten here before many times its a lovely chinese its great that they cook your food in front of you where you can see what is going on its always full of flavour and its a very nice restaurant to eat in or take away which ever you prefer.
Red Pepper, The – BlackpoolRead the recommendations on the site and decided to give it a try. Had the Mint Chicken - fabulous! It? like a chicken tikka with Raita. Service level is not for anyone in a hurry..... Would go again.
Akash Tandoori – Blackpoolthere was very good service and food was very good :)
Fieldings Fish Bar – BlackpoolWhat an excellent restaurant. The service is excellent, the food tremendous. Starters are all £4.85 Choice of 7 The seared breast of Lytham woodpigeon, leaf salad, and liquorice sauce. Terrific. Carpaccio of Scottish salmon fillet with potato & chive salad very, very tasty. The main courses Again 7 to choose from and what a choice all priced at £12.00 We had the Teriyaki Lamb steaks honey stir fry, ginger & lime sauce just to good for words. The Glazed duck breast, wilted greens, In a sweet port sauce. Again you just have to try it. Also we had The roast suckling pig, Lancashire stuffing, Strawberry pepper sauce. Great. As you can probably tell they are big on sauces but they are great combinations. A truly excellent place to eat good food well prepared and served.
Kwizeen Bistro – BlackpoolWe are frequent visitors to Seniors Restaurant, (March to October) namely because we know we are guaranteed excellent food, service and value. On Saturday 11th June 2005 Senior's Staff excelled themselves that littler bit further. A coach party from The Gateway Club, North Wales had arrived, not once did the staff loose their patience or respect for their guests, the service offered to members of the party and other diners far outweighed 'Customer Service' of the highest calibre. Not only did the staff serve excellent food, they served it speedily, efficiently and more important than that, they served the meal with a smile. Seniors Staff deserved the applaud of all the guests in the Restaurant that evening. They certainly gained a coach party of friends who will only be too happy to recommend Seniors Restaurant to other Gateway Groups. Well done to all the staff and see you all very soon.
Seniors – BlackpoolThis is one of the best Indian restaurants in Blackpool and I do recommend this to everyone who asks about Indian restaurants, as they are absolutely lovely!!! The service was lovely too!! Will be back!!!
Bombay Restaurant – BlackpoolSelected starters, steaks, sides and desserts all marked with a star for 50% off. Offer available when booked a table and each guest orders a main course to qualify.
