Four Seasons – BlackpoolDo not eat from here, took 1and half hours to come and wasn't even what I had ordered when I rang back the guy said he's been serving food like this for 25 years and had no complaint( yeh ryt) anyway ending up arguing and was told to F off thanks Babylon my bin is now full
Babylon – BlackpoolOrganised a corporate event last night at Dahlias and was entertained to the max by 'Cher' sound-a-like artiste Ms Julie Gould. Julie belted out the songs and entertained from start to finish to great applause. She had us all dancing on our seats and invited willing members from the audience to the floor in a very enterining manner. The roof lited off with laughter and fun. A true professional that delivers what it says on the ticket. She certainly worked the floor with many well known 'Cher' songs. Food was served on hot plates (so many restaurants forget this), and was delicious and plentiful. Bar prices affordable and staff very polite and quickly in attendance. I've organised many corporate events at much steeper ticket prices and can honestly say that last nights event was one of the best i've been to in years. We are still singing today. We was able to chat and dance after the tribute event had finished. Well done Manager Shaun and all the staff for the brilliant entertainment you bring to the Fylde and for your hard work. A bargain night out with quality results! Look forward to coming again.
Dahlia’s Kitchen – BlackpoolWe recently visited Mammas. The visit did not disappoint we were well looked after. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. We had no complaints whatsoever and will visit again if we are in that area. I would say this restaurant is a must if you are in the area and it will not disappoint. It was a traditional and well cared for Italian Restaurant.
San Marcos – BlackpoolWe were away for the weekend and I found and booked Mammas prior to our visit. The restaurant did not disappoint. From the minute we walked into the restaurant to when we left we felt looked after. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. There was nothing whatsoever about our visit that disappointed.
San Marcos – BlackpoolWe love the food at the merry cat the fish are perfectly cooked , everything is how it should be. The owners are lovely people , it's the best in the area .
Merry Cat, The – BlackpoolGo Greek is my favourite restaurant! The food is always absolutely delicious! The staff are great and there is a lovely Greek atmosphere with Greek music playing. The quality of the food is first class every time. We go as often as we can. It's a small restaurant, intimate but now a little bigger with the added atrium which is very pretty at night with twinkly lights and the huge pictures of scenes of Greece on the walls. We sometimes go for lunch aswell as going in the evenings. Their homemade soup is to die for and the chicken keebabs are just heaven! A bonus is that they serve 'Illy' coffee which is gorgeous. They also do takeaway which we have now started having instead of a chinese as you know that it will be superb every time. I just love this place!!!!
Go Greek – BlackpoolAll I can say about Nandos is it's always busy, the food is outstanding, I love that they have 3 different types of spice for the meal. The staff are really helpful and good to get along with. I go to Nandos about once a week and I would recommend it to absolutely anyone<3
Nandos – BlackpoolMy family and I visited the Golden Palace after reading the glowing reviews on this site and another. Either these people were all paid to write the reviews by the restaurant or they were made up by the restaurant themselves. This was our 1s tchoice of Chinese restaurant in Blackpool due to the references made to them catering for people with Wheat/Gluten intolerances, this was completely untrue, dishes could NOT be altered to cater for specific dietary requirements. Furthermore, the restaurant was freezing cold and we had to sit with our coats on. When we requested mayonnaise the waitress brought out sachets, all of which were clearly well past there used by date, as it came out orange and runny. The restaurant over all was tired and dated and nothing more than a below average takeaway trying to be something more than it is. I will never be returning and strongly suggest to anyone else they give the Golden Palce a very very wide berth.
Golden Palace – BlackpoolVery friendly people , kids enjoy it.
Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – BlackpoolI went for lunch here on the Sunday gone and was very disappointed! The room was cold and the Sunday lunch was a carvery which it didn't specify on website! Wouldn't of minded but veg was raw gravy cold and the beef was dry and also didn't get the coffee which was included or sparkling wine as they said it was at their discretion if they served u the offer which was stated on website! Overall was a waste of time and money and will not be returning!
Imperial Hotel – BlackpoolVery poor customer service girl on phone very rude food took over an hour to come and was really cold had to put in microwave i rang the shop 3 times to be told driver had set of half an hour ago and the girl on phone to tell me there are no managers to talk to and its not her fault it took so long she does'nt plan the drivers route should have bought a microwave meal as thats what i ended up with
Wok Wow – BlackpoolJust had Wok Wow and was really disapointed after having heard really good things about it. The prawn toast were really small and the lemon in the box spoliled the flavour. The ribs were fatty and the bbq sauce was not thick and sticky. The Chow mein lacked flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was also lacking in flavour. The prawn crackers were nice. The majority of the meal has been left as it was not enjoyed and went cold very quickly. Very disappointing.
Wok Wow – BlackpoolAbsolutely brilliant every time. Food sensational, staff so friendly and helpful.
San Marcos – Blackpooljolly good pub grub
Newton Arms, The – BlackpoolReally nice food everytime. Could do with menu variations. Also prices up, dont get too greedy....
