Visited Sabai Sabai on Monday 21 Feb 2011 with 2 friends.We had been many years ago with the previous owners & were a bit wary when we walked in to find no-one else dining there. However we decided to give it a try & we were so pleased that we did. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was all freshly cooked & well presented & very reasonably priced.The Thai green curry was excellent.We will definitely be returning in the near future & will recommend it to all our friends

Not a recommendation i'm afraid, after reading the reviews my boyfriend and i thought we would go along and have a good steak meal! All i can say is we didn't!.. not at all as the reviews indicated...cheap cafe food for restaurant prices and the free wine i wouldn't even cook with!

I dined at Mamma's last night with a special lady. The food, service and ambience was first class, we shall return !

great night out

Just been to Sapori tonight for a birthday celebration. While the food was extremely good the service was very poor. Can't believe all the other reviews. It wasn't that busy & we had to ask at least twice for drinks we'd ordered & staff were quite cold with us. The only time they were friendly was when we were leaving...which was a little to late. Don't think we will be going back.

Stayed in the Walkden many times and the best thing Chris and Julie have done is open the eatery the food comes in good size portions and is very good value for money and set in a very good relaxed atmosphere where you can sit and eat your meal in peace would recommend the Walkden eatery to anybody who asked 10/10 for the mine hosts try for yourself and ENJOY

If Carling did a Chinese restaurant......this would be it. Best food in the North, with some original dishes; try their Barbie Bangan, it's wonderful. Lovely staff and attentive service.

on the recommendation of this site we visited Sapori, it was fantastic, the food was beautiful and the service was out of this world. If you want authentic Italian food and a clean relaxing restaurant this is the place to go!!

I can give this restaurant 10 out of 10,great food made to feel welcome by staff .i have recommended this restaurant to guests who have been staying at my hotel all say the same, great food a little gem.

La Fontana is a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I ate their on the weekend in a busy, joyous and entertaining dining room. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were polite and charming, attending to all our needs, and our allergies. We spoke to another table sat across from us, and considering this was our first visit, we had chosen well as this place has a reputation for bringing people back, time after time. The evening was finished with a birthday surprise for another table, but the whole restaurant joined in with the celebrations, including the kitchen staff who made an uncanny appearance. Its the small things that make the big things happen, we felt at ease all night, even with a little wait for our mains the waiters were attentive and apologetic, but with a busy night it was understandable. Please give this place a try, it certainly deserves this review, and many more to come.

visited for the first time today with my partner , fantastic food and service really enjoyed and will definitely be back again.

After finding this restaurant in Sugarvine decided to give it a try since it's near my house.Very impressed, efficient courteous and professional service, backed up by great food.I've e been there 3 times and had takeaway twice now and been very happy each time.Highly recommend and will keep going myself

If you go here you have had a shocker...I have seen more life in a morgue...mr death and tweedle dee and some other fluffs behind the bar, looked a bit young to me though...get a grip boys...far to pretentious for Blackpool...get yourselves back to Sicily where you both belong.

Went with a friend for New Years and we had a great time.Food and service excellent.It's a family restaurant and you cannot beat the warm welcome.We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later .Great again.Looking forward to the next visit.Keep it up Sapori.Highly recommend to anyone, not to be missed

Recently had lunch here. Unfortunately I can't agree with the positive comments others have made! Service was very slow - 3 and a half hrs... and the food poor quality. The most tasteless Stilton mushrooms I've ever had! Sorry but really disappointed with this place

On the strength of a recent laudatory feature on BBC Radio Lancashire, my wife and I travelled 25 miles west today to sample the Cottage's fish and chips. What a massive, massive, disappointment! The cod was { just about) passable, but the inedible blackened chips were greasy, soggy and tasted of cheap burnt fat. A truly disgusting offering- the worst chips we have tasted for many a year, if not ever. Surely we cannot have been given the same fare as the smiling minor celebrities in the photos lining the walls of this fish and chip hell!! Ironically, travelling the same distance eastwards from our home takes us to something approaching fish and chip heaven- Grandma Pollard's at Walsden near Todmorden. We have never been disappointed in our numerous visits there. If only we had been loyal to them today..

The walkden eatery is a new venture and me and my family went for the first time tonight ,we had a wonderful meal we all of agreeing the roast beef and pork was wonderful. For sweets i had chocolate cake with cream which was to die for whilst my wife opted for apple and ginger crumble with custard which she said was delicious . All in all we had a wonderful night at walkden eatery and will be visiting again soon and would highly recommend it .

Go Greek is just like dining out in the Med, the atmosphere is so authentic and the food is so delicious and very good value for money. The staff were very pleasant indeed and I shall be going there again, in fact next week! Very much recommended x
