Fantastic meal at Ellenders again. The steak and Stilton pie was, to quote my brother, the best he'd ever tasted. First class staffing service.

Booked for 7pm and ordered and the food arrived very promptly and was absolutely delicious. My son accompanied us on a flying visit from Yorkshireand was very very impressed with the quality. . Ellenders never disappoints.

Booked for my husbands birthday as we had heard lots of good reviews. Unbeknown to us if it’s your birthday and you have I.D you get your main meal for free so that was a lovely surprise. From arrival all the staff were very attentive. Didn’t have to wait too long for food, and the food was delicious. So would definitely recommend.

Lovely Anniversary meal. The waitress was so helpful as my husband is Gluten Free. She went above and beyond with the service and finding any information we needed regarding the food and beer, The food was delicious! Could not fault anything . Thank you will defiantly recommend.

Plenty of parking, good food and friendly, attentive staff. Spent a couple of hours catching up with friends without feeling we were being hurried out the door. Would definitely go there again.

I went for my birthday with friends and had a really good time. Food was nice though had run out of some desserts . Atmosphere was pleasant and service was very good too. Will be looking to return

Had lunch on Tuesday both had the £10 special. Had the homemade pie which was excellent, lovely mash and gravy. Exceedingly good value Good service and atmosphere. Highly recommended

4th time I've been. Main course was lovely as always. For the first time sadly was disappointed with the dessert. But won't stop me going back again

Such a treat! Second time I have been and loved it both times. Absolutely exquisite food, wonderful service and information about the food. Particularly appreciate how dog friendly it is and that our dog felt just as spoilt and cared for as we did.

Only one waitress on so service was fairly slow. Food however was worth the wait. Great value. We will return.

Relaxed atmosphere, lovely food. Party of 5 of which four of us had haddock and chips which was delicious and one had pie which was also very good. Great value for money with their £10 dishes. Very friendly efficient waitresses

Lovely food tonight 26/3. Only one waitress who did an excellent job on her own. However, for the second time no mushroom stroganofff available despite my friend ringing this afternoon and checking to make sure it would be available. The reason "couldn't find the rice" which was strange. Disappointing.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, good food and excellent service. Very good value for money. Only criticism - please offer plain buns for burgers as well as brioche!

Nice food at a reasonable price, although service was a little slow and our server obviously new and lacked knowledge on food served… but was very pleasant. Only slight disappointment was desserts not available that night and the sticky toffee pudding was rather dry. This didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the evening overall, very nice atmosphere.
