A great restaurant in ALL respects. We booked a table for 6 people and asked the waiter to choose for us so we got chance to sample a wide range of dishes. All unique and different from the usual Indian cuisine we are familiar with. Even the dedicated carnivores were very pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian delights. All staff were pleasant and professional. Great to have a chat with the Chef and Owner too. We will definitely return soon and drive the 30 minutes to collect a take-away. In a word; Magnificent.

As a meat lover I was only persuaded to visit this restaurant for a friends birthday. However I am very glad that they did! The food was outstanding as was the service. If all vegetarian food tasted this good I would definitely eat it more often! I would particularly recommend the Chick pea Chole and the Bhinda dishes. I don't normally eat desserts but I thought I'd try them here and see what they were like. I would definitely have both the Carrot Cake and the Mango Shikand! Overall we thought the whole meal was amazing, needless to say we will all be going back!

We thought we'd try this restaurant after seeing it on TV. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was brilliant too, with all the staff, including the chef, coming to talk to us. We took our 2 young teenage boys, who were also made really welcome. Being brought up in Bradford we are used to curries, but the food here was such a surprise - really different with a bit of a wow factor. The 4 of us had 2 generous courses and drinks for less than £70. Highly recommended.

We experienced Prashad for the first time today ( 16th October 4pm) We were totally overwhelmed. The food is absolutely superb or as their answerphone message rightly says 'phenomenal'. We ordered the mixed platter to start which was a great experience for us to try 8 of their award winning starters. I know which I will be choosing next time! I had the masala dosa as my main which was faultless. Every spice and ingredient could be tasted in each mouthful. My husband chose the chole dish which was absolutely fab. The food was the icing on the cake.....The staff are the heart of the business and make everyone welcome. Kaushy took the time to speak to every single customer including the takeaway customers. How important does this make each and everyone feel. This is what makes the place so special.......you enter as a customer but leave as a friend. Reservation made already for our next visit....Cant wait!!!! Thank you

came to visit Prashad last Tuesday from Manchester with my mum and dad after watching the Gordon Ramsay program, the food was the best Indian i have ever eaten, it just being so different from what is mostly on offer at other restaurants, the other big difference is the staff and owners who live and breath for their business, you can tell it is their life when talking to them and not just a job, Kaushy came over for a chat as did Bobby, what lovely people, thanks from jim

I went to Prashad for the first time today and had a delightful dining experience. The restaurant was fully booked and we had not made a reservation, so we had to order from the takeout menu but the staff actually accommodated us although part of their rooms is being refurbished at the moment . I have not been treated in such a friendly and attentive yet unobtrusive manner before in a restaurant. The food was lovely - not the classic curry house fare but a variety of unusual yet flavourful and beautifully presented dishes. I particularly liked the masala dosa and the coconut chutney it is served with. I will definitely return here in the near future (but make sure to book a table in advance which is something I would recommend everyone who wants to dine at Prashad).

Buzzing little restaurant. Veggie only cuisine. Try the Mixed Platter Starter for a mini selection of everything, as choosing can be difficult! Will go again.

My two adult kids and I ate at Prashad last night. We were very keen to go after seeing the restaurant on Ramsays Restaurant programme. It looked amazing and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Kaushy & Bobby were very happy to talk to all the customers. We asked the waiter for a recommendation and it was really fab. We had Papodoms and pickles, Mixed platter & Special Chaat to start - They were gorgeous. For the main course, we had Massala Dosa, Renghan & Pea and Vegetable Handi along with Rotli & Kichdi. The flavours were amazing in all of the dishes so it's hard to choose a favourite, but we would all choose the same again and we will definitely be returning soon. Many thanks, it was really excellent.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! We loved this place. Fabulous food served in unpretentious surroundings with heaps of passion and a generous dollop of love. We were made to feel so welcome on our recent visit to Prashad, as if we were doing the restaurant a massive favour just by being there. The culinary attention to detail was outstanding, with every morsel of food prepared and cooked to perfection. The mixed platter starter was an absolute joy; a treat for the taste buds with its glorious variety of textures and flavours. To avoid disappointment, we'd advise booking a table in advance for this bijou eatery. Our only regret is that our home town is geographically too distant from Prashad. Does anyone know any way of pushing Edinburgh and Bradford closer together?!

I would not recommend this pub for a meal. Since being taken over by Vintage Inns it has a lacklustre menu. And the food served to me on 07/10/10 was appalling and worse than that I had to pay for it even tho I made 2 complaints. Shocking way to treat customers! I have been to Dick Hudsons on numerous occasions over the years but I think I have now been for the last time. Shame really as its a great pub with great views and it used to have fabulous home cooked meals

I was born in Bradford, my mother lives 5 minutes away from Prashad and this is the first time I have eaten here and the question I ask myself is why did I not know about this little gem of a restaurant? After watching Gordon Ramsay's show and my love of curries I invited friends to join me from Wetherby. Wow - an explosion of flavours described the eating experience at Prashad, we received exceptional service the whole night. The restaurant is small so my advice is to get booking now as there is limited availability due to its popularity, quite rightly so - but it is worth the wait. Thanks to all the staff at Prashad who made the dining experience a delight; he food speaks for itself - exceptional! Linda (7 October 2010)

I visited Prashad after watching Ramsays Best Restaurant and was impressed by the strong family values and passion which Prashad showed in abundance. I took my 4 year old son on a Sunday afternoon for. The restaurant was fully booked so I opted for a take out. In the takeaway part, there is building work been done at the moment. I got talking to 3 guys from Liverpool who had drove all the way over to Bradford to try the restaurant. Their review of Prashad had me drooling all the way back to Shadwell. When I eventually arrived home, I devoured the food and can't wait for my next visit to try more vegetarian dishes.

We live in Birmingham, and whilst visiting bradford we went and tried some food from Prashad (Vegetarian inidian food). The food was lovely and flavour some. We would recommend the platter, which has loads of different starters. The service was great, they came and greeted us and were very polite. Hope they bring a Prashad too Birmingham.

called in to Prashad today as i was in Leeds on business to get a take away after the rave reviews on Ramsey's channel 4 program. just got home after having the beautiful aroma wafting around the car for 21/2 hrs on the way home, only to find the poppadoms were absent! doh....

This is a wonderful eating experience. My husband is an ardent carnivore and he has been raving about this veggie curry house. The service matches the food too.
