We went on Saturday for evening dinner. I had the chicken supreme which was very good. My friend had «  the best burger ever ». The chocolate dessert was wonderful. Service was efficient but very relaxed. I particularly liked the fact that only the patio allowed dogs in the evening.

We visited the cow shed on Wednesday last week. The food was lovely as usual but the service was lacking! The gentleman who served us was quite rude when he was asked about what sugar feee drinks they had available as my partner is diabetic, the waiter just looked down his nose at us and wasn’t very helpful. The lady who brought us our food was lovely and friendly. Just a shame about the male waiter

Amazing food from a family farm. Really helpful and attentive staff and fast service despite being a busy Sunday afternoon. 100% recommend.

We love this place, its our dogs treat to go the beach most weekends and our treat to go for a meal afterwards, we've never had a bad meal and the service is amazing, they work so hard.

This is our 2nd visit here. We took my parents, who have lived in Scarborough for nearly 20 years but were unaware of The Cow Shed, for their 1st time here. We all agreed on one word to describe our experience.....Brilliant!

Had a wonderful lunch at the Cow Shed yesterday with 6 of us enjoying freshly cooked quality food. Even managed a dessert! Very reasonably priced, lovely sea views and a nice airy atmosphere. Only problem was that we forgot to leave a tip which we will rectify next time we visit! Promise!!

We very much enjoyed our meal at The Cow Shed. The food was well presented, tasty and filling. The staff were very pleasant and helpful also.

Having eaten previously, during the afternoon, at the Cow Shed, this was our first visit to their new Friday evening dinner session (also running on Saturdays). The ambience is warm and (dog) friendly and the staff polite and welcoming. The views from the seating on the covered decking are breathtaking, looking out over Fraisthorpe Beach to Bridlington on the left and Hornsea on the right. The menu choice is adequate, focussed on steaks (must be pre-ordered), burgers, etc. with some Gluten-Free options. However, the cooking is spot on, with dishes always delivered exactly as requested - no sending steaks back because they’re rare or medium when cremated was the ordered; unusually, when no garnish is requested that is exactly what you get. All in all a fantastic treaty meal, incredible value for money given the quality of the food and surroundings.

We had lunch 3 weeks ago and ate a lovely sandwich, coleslaw, and red onion, the bagett was lovely and warm. Sadly this time the meal was not as good , no red onion salad and the bread not as fresh

The cafe is fabulous but I think the food let it down, we had breakfast, I had poached egg of which were both hard, I didn't feel as though I could say something due to the head waitress being quite spikey. A women you wouldn't want to cross. All in all I found my experience not a very good one

Recommended by a friend, and it certainly did not disappoint. Lovely dog friendly environment, but also space for those who wants bit of peace. The service was excellent, all cooked fresh to order and very reasonably priced. We will be back after recommending to friends and family!!

Great little venue, good food, atmosphere, and service. Booking is necessary as always full!

First time visit and we’ll certainly be back. Booked Sunday lunch and arrived early and welcomed by lovely friendly staff and shown to our table. Wonderful place and fantastic food. Sat inside with our two dogs on a really hot day, it was lovely and cool. Very busy but service was very good and no long wait.
