Food was lovely as always and the staff were friendly and polite. Social distancing adhered to at all times. Will definitely be returning when we can.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. The menu could have been a little more adventurous. A bit over priced for what was on offer. The food was nice but needs to be more reasonably priced.

A great little hidden gem, location, food and service were really good .

I cannot comment on the food as you were shut when we arrived for our confirmed booking. We were called by the owner/ staff the day before to ask if we come come a bit earlier due to Covid which we did and they were shut! Having a 5&2 yr old in the car and no tea for them you can imagine the tears. No one called or text or emailed to cancel the booking the sign said on the door closed for deep clean open again on Thursday. Your first priority is to cancel your bookings then do the deep clean if it was a Covid risk. I won’t be trying to come again.

From the arrival to departure, the service we received was excellent, so friendly and helpful. The food was beautiful, and well presented. Will definitely.

Booked following recommendation for being dog friendly and the dog menu so was so looking forward to visiting. Great location and lovely walk for dogs once arriving after travelling 2 hours. check in was quick and simple, pub lovely and clean and following the covid rules - although did have to ask about the NHS scanner, but seated pretty promptly. Didn't get presented with dog menu despite clearly having said animal with us - glad we had taken a pic on entering, no water bowl for our beloved animal and not once was it offered. Food was delivered quickly and was ok despite nearly getting a kids menu - definately freshly cooked. Felt rushed - table was booked for 1pm we arrived at 1245 and was on our merry way by 130! Literally put our cutlery down and was asked within 10 seconds if we'd finished ! Apparently said waitress was hovering (she was behind me), was going to order more drinks and something else for our beloved 4 leg but wasnt even asked if we wanted anything further. We wont be returning and spend our monies elsewhere where we dont feel rushed

Fantastic friendly service, great food and very good value. Also, extremely well set up for Covid with signs and sanitiser prominently displayed. Great stuff!

Didn’t eat this time but had a lovely afternoon. Great service and friendly staff.

Our meal on Thursday 22.10 was very disappointing. I had the Korean belly pork (which I have had before & was beautiful) It was very tough & didn't have the same flavour as before, the chips that came with it were also disappointing. The final straw was when a fly landed in my food. We did mention it to the waiting staff but all they did was apologise. We won't be rushing back.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner, very friendly staff would definitely recommend this pub .

Fantastic pub, great food and good service. We had a snack one day and returned for a Sunday lunch, both excellent. . The pub had good Covid restrictionists in place to keep us all safe. Very dog friendly. We all look forward to returning soon.

Lovely Sunday lunch with our dachshund puppy able to join us too!

2nd visit and this time Saturday at 3pm. Staff seemed under pressure and there was confusion with our table which led to a 15 minute wait. When seated we were served promptly with drinks and food order was taken. Food was average (fish and chips and a bacon and cheese burger). Nice pub, great atmosphere and staff friendly. We will come again because of this.

Great food, friendly staff, Covid safe, would recommend.
