I was very impressed with the Shelley Arms...in particular the food. Most of the dishes were homemade and very reasonably priced.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 dinners. Their fish is excellent and they present a lovely array of fresh vegetables. The service is excellent and the servers are helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended

I have been eating at the Indian Cottage since it opened. Excellent service, the chef appears to favour aromatically flavoured food rather than "blow your socks off hot" and (IMHO) the food is all the better for it, one gets to appreciate the full flavour and range of spices used. If you like Indian food give it a try.

Very very Nice food! Spicy prawn starter is amazing! Just a shame they had the world cup on one of the times I went there. Luckily no sound though!

Took a friend for a birthday lunch, had a very nice meal,the ribeye steak was cooked to perfection & the homemade desserts made your mouth water!!! Lynne, the landlords wife, made us feel most welcome.

My Husband and I have now eaten in India Gate twice, and both visits have been outstanding! The food is delicious, and freshly cooked to order. There is an excellent choice, including Ostrich Tikka, should one so desire! The service is very friendly and caring, and the atmosphere relaxing. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We found this place on walk part. It was very nice place, welcoming and friendly. All of us were very pleased with our meal - and enjoyed it so much. We will be going there again.

What a little gem of a restaurant! Food is always fantastic, staff are lovely. I order take aways from here, even though they are the furthest indian restaurant from my house, I haven't found one better in the area (believe me, we've tried them all!) I honestly cannot fault this place,I also like the way that they allow you to take your own alcohol with you when you eat there, brilliant! Highly recommend the mixed starter & the chicken tikka passanda YUM!

No frills, well nice vegetarian canteen in North Laine area. Always feel good for the food. Nice one!

Whilst in Worthing last week i visited Montagues Tex Mex. WOW!!! As we arrived a member of their bubbly staff came to greet us and after struggling to fit us in, managed to arrange things around to find space for my girlfriend Stella and I. Spoilt for choice, another charming waitress came to take our order. I enjoyed a crisp modelo especial, while stella had a glass of their wine of the month. Whilst relaxing in the busy vibrant atmosphere we nibbled on some cheesy nachos and rib ticklers. After we had finished our starters we waited no more than 5 minutes before our mains were served. I chose sizzling duck fajitas, Stella had the Acapulco tuna which she told was exquisite. we polished the meal off with a homemade banoffee pie and a liqueur coffee each. a great night, great food, great atmosphere great drink and a very fair £48 bill. WELL WORTH A VISIT!

Only recently open, the Black Pearl lives up to its evocative name by serving an exotic variety of fish and meat dishes of the highest quality, cooked with passion and precision. Any criticism seems sour in the face of the competition.

Fabulous food in a wonderful atmosphere. Hove's best kept secret. Try asking for banana on your pizza - delicious!
