We were staying in Wells and this was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and what a real treasure this restaurant is. The food was truly wonderful, the ambiance was just right and we enjoyed our time throughly. My wife and I had the lemon sole, which was first class, and our son had the had the pork tenderloin which melted in his mouth. We can not recommend this highly enough. Well worth a visit.

The starter of prosciutto and salad was accompanied by a very flavourful dressing, and the lemon sole was soft and succulent with a very good sauce. We were well satisfied with the two courses, so were unable to sample anything from the dessert menu. The only criticism I would make is I would like to see a wider choice of wines by the glass. Service was, as always, very friendly and attentive.

Plus prosecco, good French dry white, endless supplies of water in smart blue btls . Service both efficient & pleasant. Busy restaurant but comfortable atmosphere. Recommended.

We've eaten here before and the food is always of excellent quality and very delicious!
