This is a great wedding venue if you are looking for something different!.We had our son`s wedding reception there on Friday.What a great day they gave us.They catered for 50 of us.Their service was superb.Nothing was too much trouble.The atmosphere was great.The food was great .The staff were amazing.What more do you want.Thanks boys.

We have been going to the India Cottage in Henstrdige or some years now, They have never disappointed us. Always a warm welcome and wonderful food, What more could you want?!

This is a great pub! Well-kept ale and cider, good food and loads of atmosphere. Great place to hide on a rainy day!

My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant for good reason: the quality of the food is exquisite, especially the specialty dishes. The chef is versatile on the range of Indian cuisine. One of our favourites is the eastern noodle delight- truly fit for a king. What sets this place apart is the ability to experiment on enticing new dishes and combination of flavours, yet keep the tried and tested favourites on the house menu.Shaz  is an excellent host and always make us feel welcome. It is a warming environment for an after-work destressor yet enchanting an atmosphere for an anniversary dinner with friends and family. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant - the quality of the food speaks volumes. thank u so much

what can i say about jade palace, well the food is out of this world, drinks are at a good price and i will go back there again and will tell my friends about it to go there. it is a must if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat.

the Indian in a 20 mile radius by far superb food excellent service and spot on prices!! byo you can't beat that!!!

food very good service a bit slow

Visited here for a lovely afternoon tea with all the trimmings including scones and clotted cream. The garden to the rear is a delight so take it al fresco if the weather permits. Winsford is a quiet village in a tranquil Exmoor valley and they do have rooms here if you want to stay over. It was once the summer residence of a Victorian attorney general who has given the house its current name.

We love this restaurant but alas only went once -on the last day of our hols. The moule marnieres starter was a main all in itself and the sea bream with horseradish sauce devine and morish. Steaks and lambshank were I am told equally lovely as was the summer pud and -as my son called it accidentally-fabstiffy toffee pudding! Highly recommended as it is very reasonable and delicious!

Only stopped for a drink at lunchtime but what a lovely spot it is in a quiet little valley by the river. They also do food and rooms and I would say if you want to get away from it all in Exmoor, you wouldn’t go far wrong here.

I have now been to this restaurant and eaten in twice and everything is fabulous. The service was fast and good, helpful and the food itself, was 'out of this world', superb, full of flavour, good size portions. i would recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone. before i went there, i wasn't to keen on Chinese food be be honest but now its opened a whole new level for me.

“Beautiful surrounding, friendly atmosphere and great food” May 1, 2010, I went to this restaurant for a meal for my birthday, the waiters were very friendly, and checked if we were ok with everything every now and again. They were very attentive, and helped us choose the dishes that would suits us. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and allowed me and my friends to take tons of pictures in such a nice place. The food was very lovely, with the just the right amount of spices. I went there again a few days ago, and nothing had changed, the waiters were friendly and happy to see us again, and the food was top notch once again. This is definitely a place to eat and go to! i loved it will see u soon very soon !

went to this place last week nice place great design thumbs up there, but they need to bring in alcohol as bring your own is an old idea.

Have eaten here many times and it is one of most consistently good restaurants in the west country.The flavours are exceptional,the chef has a faultless palette and cooks classic dishes with great finesse.The £15 lunch has to be one of the best bargains around.

My friends booked table for a large party at in blue ginger. Food was ok ! But the bill was alot. I think next week I will be going to a Indian few doors down I think some one said it's got a huge bar! :)

My first time here and it was OK. I wasn't blown away by it, the portions were adequate but the dishes could have been a bit more interesting. I had mostly meat on my plate and a bit of salad and it would have been nice at 15 quid a plate to have some traditional side dishes to go with it. Maybe a bit of hummus or some green beans, just something to make it more interesting. I would go back but probably just for lunch to see what they offer. 6.5/10 from me.
