The Ship Inn – Keynshamif you want good food at an extortionate price go to plantation. although the food was yummy the actual restaurant was well below standards and could only be likened in decor to your strange mad aunts house, the decorations were homemade at best, at worst it looked like they were found at the local dump. they had plastic tablecloths and the table was devoid of any decorations not even a tealight for a centrepiece. there was no ambience, the only saving grace was the staff were really friendly although they did start to eat their food before we had left the building so we felt bad to ask for service. for 20 quid per head I expected a lot more especially as we had to serve ourselves!
Plantation – Bristol City CentreHow amazing to find everything to please all generations in one venue. Goodfellows is a favourite for young and older in our family alike. The service is excellent and the food has always been superb both in flavours and in presentation. This is the same for the fish restaurant and the delightful street front cafe, both of which bring a flavour of the continent to beautiful Wells. There is no better venue for business lunches or for evening dining with a friend or two. The dishes are always subtly and beautifully balanced in flavour and look so appetizing and the wine list has never disappointed. The menus consist of the best of the fresh and seasonal so are short and interesting with plenty of variety. It is well worth a visit...then another....and another....and.......
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsDefinitely one of the best pubs I've been to in Bristol. The food was fantastic and the general ambiance was extremely pleasant. Shame it doesn't have a garden, but it still has outside seating with a great view of QEH building. Very friendly staff, board games and books as well as good music being played. I'll be back!!!!!
Eldon House – CliftonFantastic food, great environment and proper friendly staff. Had a very clean feel about the place and the background music was great too
Eldon House – Cliftonyou want a good meal with lots of attention to details, plenty to eat, and with attentive staff , and being self served, you cannot go wrong with the Oriental Buffet in Hengrove Park
Oriental Buffet – KingswoodReally enjoyed my stay recently, food was very good especially the Mackerel with beetroot textures and it was good to see seasonality with wild garlic soup. Staff also excellent, engaged and friendly. A great choice to stay when in Somerset.
Oak House Hotel and Restaurant – AxbridgeCalled in one lunchtime and the burrito was fabulous and very good value. Lovely environment with tables or sofas or bar stools to choose from. Delicious!
My Burrito – Bristol City CentreThis was our first visit to Bristol and our party of five arrived late on Saturday 26th March without prior booking and were welcomed and treated like Royalty. The food and wine was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and our wedding anniversary celebration was enjoyed by all. It was within walking distance of our Mint Hotel and this is now our favourite eatery. We hope to be regular visitors to Bristol.
Giuseppe On The Steps – Bristol City CentreExcellent food, very attentive service. Food cooked to perfection, exceeded our expectations. We were not sure about it as it looked very quiet (just another 3 tables and us 2), but we greatly surprised!! Excellent value for money. Will definitely go back and recommend to our friends! Believe me, it’s worth trying.
No 4 Clifton Village – CliftonDisappointed with our visit to this restaurant , several dishes were unavailable and the service was very poor.
Blue Ocean – Weston Super MareAs a person from Indian origin, the take away was absolutely disgusting, the service is so bad once i didn't get my delivery for 2 hour.. i would NOT recommend this takeaway to any one..
Chillies – BathGreat place to spend your Saturday afternoon with a few drinks and friendly bar staff.

New Dynasty – YeovilI recently visited the ship inn with my girlfriend for valentine's day, The selection on the menu was superb as well as the atmosphere.
