Winscombe Fish Bar – WinscombeI visited the Mezze Palace Lebanese restaurant last night ,the enviorment is excellent and the food with Lebanese wines was absolutely amazing , I highly recommend this restaurant for an exciting evening.
Beirut Mezze – Bristol City CentreWe went here because we got a KGB voucher and were plesantly surprised by the quality of service, food and atmosphere. Even without the voucher the food is excellent value. We would go again
Rupsha – CliftonWell what can I say Jade Palace is the best all u can buffet I've beento. Been going there for a few years and the service u get is brilliant. Never had a bad meal and food always hot and fresh.
Jade Palace – KingswoodWe've been to The Brassmill several times over the past few years but our recent visit was disappointing to say the least. It's always busy on a Sunday but we expected that so when ordering our food, we took up their suggestion printed on the menu and ordered some bread with olive oil to nibble on as we waited for our food. 20 minutes later, still no bread, so we asked a waitress who checked and told us 'they're just doing it now'. 5 minutes later she brought out a board of lovely looking bread. Shame it was like cardboard as it had blatantly been microwaved to death, therefore inedible. After 40 minutes (having been told the wait was 30) we had to chase up our food only to be told that because we had ordered the bread, the food would be longer to give us time to eat the starter, despite it not being a starter, just, as they suggested to us, something to nibble as we wait! The food was plentiful but cold plates meant everything cooled within a couple of minutes, the veg was undercooked and everything had just been cobbled together with little care or attention. Very much below normal standards for this place all round. On a plus note, the waiting staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. Shame they were struggling with such a badly run kitchen.
Brassmill The – KeynshamWe chose this for my mother's birthday for a good vegetarian selection - my mother and brother enjoyed the sea bass and I njoyed the haloumi and aubergine dish - the service was fine and the view is fantastic, especillay at high tide, the restaurant is right on the Marine Lake overlooking the bay, I felt they deserved a writeup - especially as good vegetarian menus are harder to fnd, I live in Didcot and tend to eat Lebanese for just this reason.
The Cove – Weston Super Marelong time since we went out to eat curry. Was not disappointed, food very good, service first class. Readers review Nj, top of reviews had the offer days wrong, not tues and thurs, think it is mon and fri.
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareI felt i needed to leave review about The Lord Nelson. We visited on Sunday 12/8/12 ... spur of the moment we were hunting for a place to go and hide from the sunday roast and ensuing washing up !What we found was heaven ... right from the first call i made (and sounded daft on the phone with) they were friendly and efficient. We had a great time in this extremely family friendly pub ... the staff were amazing !!Food was not awesome but very tasty, hot and generous helpings. If you have a family and are looking for a treat then head here ... 4 meals, puds and drinks was just under £30 BARGAIN !!
Lord Nelson The – Congresburya little gem near the harbour in minehead.a llmeals are cooked superbly .the wine is very reasonably priced. the desserts are all homemade with a good choice. staff are very friendly and professional . phil the owner is brilliant front of house. will definitely be back.
Old Harbour House Restaurant The – MineheadBrilliant pub and restaurant. .food amazing staff are brilliant . would recommend this pub to everyone
The Windsor Castle – Weston Super MareWent in for lunch as i have done frequently since it changed hands, Ordered a Steak Baguette with chips, Staff were extremely friendly. The two Girls behind the bar very pleasant. Baguette Arrived in good time..... To my disappointment the baguette was soggy, limp and looked like it was microwaved in a bag..... Complained to staff, very helpful. I refused to pay the full bill as it was that terrible i felt sorry for the bin it went in. To top it off, the manager told me to "F*** *FF and dont come back..... Forgive me for pointing out a small fact, I would not go back or recommend anyone to eat in that establishment..... The staff are great but the quality of the product they have to work with is worse than eating in Morocco on the side of the street. Manager is argumentative and plain rude. He has obviously had many complaints about the quality of food as when i was still in the establishment 3 out of the 6 unfortunate customers sent their food back also..... Great Pub, Rubbish Food.
The Virginia Ash – WincantonThe worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. Fried rice just boiled with some egg in it, food cold, BBQ ribs tasteless without any BBQ sauce. Just awful 0/5
Jade Palace – Kingswoodbrilliant pub by the river, fantastic food, excellent music, loads of real ales proper ciders and Belgium beers, they have really interesting decor, and a charcoal oven from Barcelona that’s truly awesome
Sheppey Inn The – WellsWas there for breakfast today, The Halo breakfast is £5.50.. my dining partner requested scrambled egg with his and was told this was fine. Some minutes later the server was sent over to our table to ask for an extra 55p as scrambled egg uses 2 eggs not 1!!!! She was incredibly embarrassed and apologetic. And so would I be working for someone who makes such bad customer service decisions. Won't be going there again.
Halo – Bristol City CentreMe and my partner came here last year, the staff were helpful but he restaurant was freezing so much so that we had to ask to move to another part of the room which turned out to be no warmer. The food was nice but some what over priced.
Brassmill The – KeynshamVery nice food but extremely expensive. We had pops with NO dips, 2 main meals, rice and 2 nan £30
Taj Mahal – Mineheadhad a great night out with a couple of friends at the Live lounge on Friday. The duo were excellent and we were impressed with the prices and the service
