My last two visits to this restaurant have been ruined by the service. Grumpy unfriendly waiters and a 10% compulsory service charge which is not clearly indicated. My last visit was at lunch me and my friends were not offered or told about the lunchtime menu so were forced to order off the main menu, costing us a lot more than the equivalent on the lunch menu, our waiter was very rude and abrupt with us ruining our experience. As a result we didn't want to leave the full 10% as our service was so bad, we were not allowed to leave the restaurant until the full 10% was paid to the waiter that blocked our exit. Utterly terrible behavior, and as a result will never eat here again. Which is a shame as my first visit was totally the opposite

What a fantastic restaurant. Elegant surroundings, excellent food, friendly service and a good wine list make for a special night out. Dress up or go casual, it all fits here. Highly recommended but make sure you book.

So many awesome reviews. So we went to see if they are really as good as everyone says they are ? Hands up ! My result is as follows 1 . Food 10/10 2 . Service 10/10 3. atmosphere 10/10 4. Value for money 10/10 and that waz voted by the twenty of us who had the meal in blue Ginger. So in return we are gonna tell all our family and friends that there's a new sheriff in town ! Thanks

The manager is rude. The staff are nice. The food is good and it's generally a nice experience.

I first went to the water side wine bar on my friends 31st birthday back in September 10. I found the staff very polite and welcoming. The out-side area was amazing and a true eye catcher. The most romantic, place, or in my case walking distance. I plan on visiting the water-side wine bar on December 24th. For my partner's birthday. I just hope the wine bar is open. And able to have a party of 7 people. please get in touch.

Hi to all ! Been to this restaurant tonight. We booked a table for a group of us. While there I was looking through the paper and to my amazement I could see bg have come in three categories in the evening post for best restaurant of 2010 it was so easy to see why so many people have voted for a new comer like bg. This place deserves all the success ! Thanks a lot what a enjoyable evening .

Chef John Melican is inspired to bring out the very best in superb produce sourced in the surrounding area. The ambiance is great, the decor is quite special. Everyone seems to be agreed that Archangel is a great addition to Frome.

Been at this lovely restaurant this this weekend. Well me and my crowed enjoyed it so much. We always look at reviews before we go to any restaurant I think that's the best way to know if a restaurant is any good. The food was fresh and top quality & service was first class. I love Sousta Taverna - our first visit was Summer 2010. We had the most fantastic night, thanks to a very friendly and mixed clientele, but mostly due to Yannis..... who are the most friendly and efficient waiter you could meet. We were so impressed that saw us return taking two friends along with us, and they were equally impressed.

Had a meal with a group of friends last Saturday and had some good food and a nice time. However, one criticism would b the off putting sign on the window something about drinks and a cheaper meal which i found misleading and confusing as drinks are the cheapest part of any meal and a curry is the main dish which obviously costs a lot more than a pint. Overall though was a nice place. They should definitely bring in an alcohol bar though to liven the place up-we want our wines and beers!

came to blue ginger with the family and had a nice quiet meal. the husband wanted a wine to go with his curry but the waiter said they don't serve alcohol because they are Muslim so we were slightly disappointed but overall it was a nice place to spend a Sunday evening.

Went to eat at blue ginger for the first time after driving by a couple of times and decided to go in; food was OK, service was good. I don't understand why every single review on this board has mentioned it being a bring your own drinks establishment though-surely the food should be the talking point not the drink? too much focus on the drinks i think when a restaurant is supposed to be about the CURRY.

What a great fish n chip shop the men are very nice and the food is fab. Never been let down every time we go..

Have been here on many occasions. Lovely pub, although i think the restaurant Lilies is no more, allowing more pub space which is good. Food fabulous as usual. Last visit we had burgers which were juicy and moist with lovely chips. A good selection of local ales and a good selection of wines too. Were able to accommodate people in an upstairs room so great for a family gathering. Landlords hospitable, and although there is a pay and display car park over the road from the pub if you take the slip in they give you the £1 back off your drinks/food.
