The Richmond Public House and Kitchen – Cliftonnew dynasty in yeovil are no doubt the best Chinese restaurant/takeaway I've found. And I've had a few being a huge fan of Chinese/Cantonese/szechuan food. their dish of szechuan king prawns is simply outstanding and always leaves me wanting more and more! if u like a hint of chili, soy sauce, tender spring onion and gorgeous tempura battered fresh king prawns then its definitely for you! visit new dynasty now for excellent service from owner hong!!
New Dynasty – YeovilI recently visited the ship inn with my girlfriend for valentine's day, The selection on the menu was superb as well as the atmosphere. We had a great night staying to have drinks with the locals. I would recommend the ship inn every time due to its friendly staff and 2nd to none service. We will be visiting again very soon.
The Ship Inn – KeynshamLa passione is a great place to it with all the charm of Italy the staff who we have known since it opened are all very friendly nothing is to much trouble. As we are going there tonight for valentine night once again we are looking forward to a lovely meal for two.
La Passione – Kingswoodfound this restaurant by chance on a Sunday evening, we ate on the 2-4-1 deal. To start we had langoustines and chilli lime hummus with bread, olives and oil, both were excellent. For mains we had Trio of old spot pork & Chilli marinated chicken with side orders of Cajun & lime dusted chips and roasted sweet potato both meals tasted fantastic. the staff were very friendly & efficient, offering glasses of water as well as drinks. we did not have deserts as we were too full but looking at them being delivered to other tables if they tasted as good as they looked we missed out but we couldn't eat any more!! next time we are down in Bath we will definitely return to the Lime Lounge for another meal. WELL DONE ON A GREAT SERVICE AND SUPERB FOOD.
Lime Lounge – Bathat Central Bar this weekend - rally great atmosphere and the cocktails were first class highly recommend the bar and the great cocktails to boot!

Blue Ginger – KingswoodI decided to give bg a go after ready all the reviews on sugarvine. I really was nit picking trying to find something wrong that I can write about ? Guess that wasn't gonna happen ! This restaurant deserves all the praise after all it's only been around ten months since they have opened and already they have won a lot of customers over from the local restaurants ( I'm one of them ) every thing at bg was spot on and we enjoyed every minute of our visit. I've booked in for valentine for me and my lady . Love the menu they got something different from everybody else , I guess after all they are different then all other restaurants I've visited in Bristol. : ) thks
Blue Ginger – KingswoodHad to try this restaurant after seeing the review mark Taylor ( top food critic ) gave in evening post. I think he hit the nail on the head simply by say the best Indian restaurant in Bristol . I'm totally 100% sure it is. What a review . Will be back. Thank u
Blue Ginger – KingswoodSaw a write up in the Metro ''Best restaurant outside London!'' I don't think so, I don't mind paying good money for good food. But I was so disappointed, the waiter, was reading out the menu before we sat down, thought the wine we chose was not good enough! Two of us sent our main meal back as it was undercooked and cold. Extremely small portions for all of us, and we all left with a sour taste instead of what we thought was going to be an eating experience. We would certainly not recommended this place, just a rip off!!! And not even good food!!!!!!
Flinty Red – Bristol City CentreA gastro-restaurant spent a lot on a modern refurbishment of this village inn but it failed after a sell-off. It has just been taken over by an Indian Restaurant and Take-Away service, free delivery within 5 miles. With high hopes we ordered four take-away dishes that we thought would showcase their skills. They arrived quarter an hour before the agreed time, piping hot, each container labelled and filled to over-brimming with generous good sized portions. Unfortunately from then on it was down hill. The three meat dishes were swimming in the same colour and flavour sauce. The meat itself was differently flavoured and textured, the spices flavourings were indistinct and muddled and the other ingredients over cooked pulp without shape or texture. The lamb in the Bahari Murgh was evenly sliced and cut into strips that suggested it was a pre-cooked joint re-heated for the dish. The Duck Mirchi had a marinated texture but was indistinct. The fish in the Bongo Shagor was on the bone, had a good strong dried fish flavour, but was impossible to take off without taking bone with it. The main flat fish was indeterminate. The Vegetable Dansak was an utter disgrace, just odd chunks of left-over vegetable and oh yes two chunks of pineapple but no discernable lentil dall. Compared to the rank oil gloup that other Indian Restaurants serve up, their sauce had a pleasant flavour. The fore-warnings of an overly large menu trying to include every possible dish known to the English proved correct. Unfortunately despite a very posh setting this is more of the same and fails to deliver distinct dishes, freshly cooked to order and reflecting their particular regional style of cooking. Sad.
