Very 'safe' menu. Nothing too challenging for the cook. Well presented and the service was good. The clientele is mainly over 60's though and the atmosphere much too serious for the food on offer.

Old Bear The – TauntonWe ate there last Saturday night and the place was heaving. The staff were totally rushed off their feet but coped wonderfully. The food leaving the kitchen was some of the best I've had in Bristol in a long time. All 5 of us agreed it's a special place. The bar was a little too busy, but we stopped, had a few than headed home. What amazed me more than anything were the customers - an eclectic mix of young proffs, middle aged couples and 'the trendies'. Perfect company and a surprising find on Park St.
Goldbrick House – Bristol City CentreI Have been going to la grotta fro years on end! my whole family love it there as we know all the staff and owners.. We do get a little spoilt as we know them but many of my friends go there and ask me to take them again because they love it so much! it is a great place i really recommend it !!!
La Grotta – Bristol City CentreJust come home from an excellent meal for two at Juniper. Never been before and tend to stick to places I know - but I am glad I took the opportunity to see if what I had heard was true. Food was excellent, the manageress Jess was on her own but that didn? take away from the relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and have already decided to go back again soon.
Juniper Restaurant – Bristol City CentreExcellent offers, authentic seasonal dishes and a good selection of pan-Asian beers. We had a really good night out and can really recommend it!
Bauhinia – CliftonWent for the carvery, after being recommended. Newly refurbished bar/dining area. The day four of us went, the carvery, best I have seen in the area, and I counted TEN veg for the price. We have been several times since on speck, but unable too get a table, booking is a must it seems we'll be back.
The Woolpack Inn – Weston Super MareWhat Fantastic food it was like eating restaurant food in a pub. Good size portions will be going again no doubt great value for money
Fleur De LIs – Staple HillRelaxed, informal dining, perfect for couples, friends and families. Very friendly and for once getting the bill was a welcome surprise!!!
Pizza Provencale – CliftonMe and my associate were in Bath on a business trip and were recommended by one of my clients to go and try a meal at the Curry Mahal. So we did and we were pleasantly surprised. I tried the chicken mon pasand, it had distant flavours to it and the chicken was so tender. My friend also enjoyed his meal very much. The guys in there were so friendly and inviting, so much so that we came back the next day for another meal before we left bath.
Curry Mahal – BathOn the 2nd of Feb, 6 of us friends went down for a meal which was recommended by another friend. We were extremely pleased with the food and customer service was fab! We truly did have a wonderful experience. We?l definitely go again!
Curry Mahal – Bathexcellent service! atmosphere is very cosy....staff are great, and last but not least the food was delicious! i would recommend everyone to go and try it.

Curry Mahal – BathReturned after 35 years to find delightful hosts and staff. Good choices, ample servings. Thoroughly recommend
New Inn – BathThe present owners of The George have developed the facilities over the past 3 or 4 years. It's still very village pubby when you walk in with 3 or 4 cask ales as well as farm cider and a small but very good selection of moderately priced wines. There is a good selection of very good food to eat in the bar or restaurant where there is usually an exhibition of paintings or photographs by local artists, which are also for sale. Much of the food, especially the meat and fish, is locally sourced and is cooked and presented with flair at reasonable prices. Monthly (last Thursdays) curry evenings are popular and the choice good (buffet style) and presented wine testing? regularly organised. Very friendly, excellent food and drink and well worth a visit.
The George Inn – WellsBlostins is a well-loved institution in Shepton Mallet of many years' standing. The staff are always very welcoming from the moment you step inside from the pavement into the small bar where you choose from blackboard menus which change little over time. There's ?a carte, pay by the number of courses, or mix and match from both. Good local food, skilfully prepared and served, with an excellent and changing wine list, moderately priced. There are regular devotees from the local area.
Blostins – Shepton MalletHave to agree with previous comments. Went along for a 'Sunday lunch' and was totally impressed with the quality of the food and level of service. Will have to go back to try their proper Greek food. The Kleftico (my roast lamb) was excellent indeed.
Sousta Greek Taverna – CongresburyFirst visit to Bells, which we thoroughly enjoyed, the food & service was outstanding, we were staying in Bristol for a couple of nights and choose the restaurant after reading previous reviews. We would thoroughly recommend it.
Bells Diner – Bristol City Centregreat fresh food, the mussels turned up just as i arrived. very friendly service. would recommend to anyone.
