Had a beautiful lunch from a very varied menu. Lots of choice for dessert too. Great place to go for food or just a coffee

Fantastic meal for two, everything was beautifully presented and deliciously fresh and tasty. Loved everything about Olive. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and venue. Thank you would totally recommend.

I had a main of hake with a white bean cassoulet. The hake was good but the cassoulet was completely bland and dry as a bone and I eat one mouthful and left the rest. I complained to the waitress and was told she would look into a discount. Bill arrived and no discount and when queried i was offered £5. When pushed they then offered £10 but they were obviously not happy. Neither was I. A triumph of style over substance. will not go again. So for the sake of taking the dish off they would rather loose customers.

We booked The Olive Tree for Friday 22nd August. It will give you an idea of what we thought when I tell you that we booked the next night too after having eaten there. Excellent food, attentive and friendly staff. They could not have been more accommodating in assisting with the storage of my partners mobility scooter. Our only complaint is that we were only visitors to Wells so are not able to use the restaurant regularly.

Great service Starter and mains were excellent but the experience was let down by 2 very poor deserts and when I complained I received a well sorry!!

Visiting from NZ, as my mum lives here in Wells, Celebrated my last night here with my Well's relations and my mum. Everyone enjoyed their night, food was presented well and top quality, service was excellent and overall top notch. Would return the next time I am back in Wells. Thank you.

I had mussels and fries and I have to say these were the best I have had in a long time. Fresh and with a most delicious sauce.

Interesting cafe with comfortable colourful decor. Food was plentiful and tasty and good value for money. So nice that there’s a different style of food in the neighbourhood too.

Good Evening, I had the pleasure of visiting your restaurant in London recently, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed everything—the delicious food, the inviting atmosphere, and the warm hospitality!

We keep returning to the Olive Kitchen, which says a lot as to how good it is. We have been for brunch several times, Mothers Day, lunches and takeaways. The food is fresh, vibrant, tasty and interesting. Please don’t get me started on the cakes! The perfect way to finish with coffee, and often a sneaky slice to take home. Friendly staff, and a good drinks list. What a querky building too! Love it.

On our latest visit to Union Street Brasserie we ordered two Full English Breakfasts. All the elements were nicely cooked and presented however on one of the meals the large mushroom was difficult to cut and a replacement was similar. Overall it is a good place to stop for lunch friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Bjut we were dissappointed in the large mushroom on one meal
