Delicious meal, my husband who doesn’t like crème brûlée is now a convert having tasted the pistachio and raspberry one.

Sunday Lunch - usual main course choices. Alas arrived too late in the service for the mussels. Great welcome, bright interior, good selection of food, efficient service, reasonably priced. Obviously popular - make sure you book!

Excellent Lunch on Saturday 23rd March 2024. The 4 of us all had the most splendid 3 course menu, the quality and delivery was exceptional. Thank you for making our experience outstanding, the care and consideration to our parties special mobility requirements was greatly appreciated. lovely welcome in a fun setting, in doors, the art, and out, the estuary. Lots of great flavours, not too much food, but just a pretty good amount of everything. The ravioli were excellent, as was everything. I did like the bathroom for ladies too! The chap who served us was friendly, fun and generous with his time. Thank you, hoping to be back.

A bit overpriced. The food was of pretty good quality except my partners chocolate tart pudding which was way too salty. Overall we came out of the restaurant really wanting to like it but came out feeling it was nothing special ...sorry just being honest.

For various reasons we haven’t been to Goodfellows for a year and last night we enjoyed a wonderful meal. Our party of 4 had the tasting Menu with the wine flight. All delicious!

Great food and great venue. Service could’ve been a little better, having asked for menus and extra items….then having to chase staff up…… but would thoroughly recommend.

We had an excellent lunch for four people this week. Lovely menu, attentive but not overbearing staff and excellent prepared and presented food.

Excellent service & atmosphere, beef absolutely fabulous; potatoes and yorkshire were obviously reheated so not at their best but still more than edible. Wine reasonably priced and good selection. Very good value and would recommend it to anyone.

Its not only that everyone is most helpful and the menus are very good value but the food in each course is really most delicious and is far more than the sum of its ingredients. The whole meal is a magnificent experience. Thank you.

What a great restaurant. Really good choice and variety of dishes for each course expertly cooked and served by great front of house team. We were only in Wells for a couple of days and on the first night we ate in our hotel. If we had only known about the Olive Tree we would have eaten there on each night. Any time we are near in the future we'll be back!
