We have been for lunch 3 or 4 times now. The food is always sophisticated, clever, and beautifully presented. The best food in this part of Somerset I would say. The dishes are unusual, but not excessively complex or showy. The three course lunch menu is a really good value for money treat. You leave feeling you have had an interesting and satisfying meal but without feeling you have over-indulged. I really cannot fault this restaurant at all.

We have been before as only live in walking distance and was anticipating making this our default place to eat in futures with family and friends.. However we felt the price for our celebratory post Xmas/new year meal for two totally exorbitant. I am a chef too and could have delivered our meal for definitely HALF the price, even taking on board staff costs etc. sorry folks but would not recommend beef this and shall not be going again.

Goodfellows at 7B – WellsOnly our second visit of the year but we were greeted as old friends. Adam, Martine and Renaud went out of their way to make my partner's birthday (discreetly) special. Each course - mushroom soup, scallops, venison and Bailey's espresso ice cream - was a a triumph of presentation and flavours. Their advice of the right wine to match the food is always spot on.
