Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyYesterday I visited Nino's at The Fighting Cocks Inn, together with my partner and another couple, and it was not an enjoyable dining experience for the following reasons. * Food:- This varied greatly, out of four starters & four mains there were four good, one average, one poor & two very poor (the lasagne), also the garlic bread was burnt. * Service:- In practical matters acceptable, but impersonal & not especially welcoming. * Price:- Not good value (drinks very expensive). * Ambiance:- Very noisy, not authentic (it didn't seem to me like an Italian restaurant , just a restaurant serving Italian food - there is a difference!). * We will not return.
Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyI have been to Bentley Wood Farm on several occasions over the last couple of months.
Bentley Wood Farm – Harvester – BurnleyReally big inprovement on last time brilliant service and food, well worth a visit
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe visit on numerous occasions and have always been more than pleased with the food..The menu is extensive , the only complaint is that the portions are much too large, We are happy that the menu has been revised and that there are now smaller portions on some items . We certainly continue to visit on a regular basis.
Sycamore Farm – BurnleyFabulous. We went in a big party to celebrate my daughter's 21st. My daughter have failed to tell them one of the party was in a wheelchair, they were very accommodating. Half of the party were half an hour late, still no problem. Despite the fact that they were very busy, our food came out all at the same time, and it was hot. and it was delicious! Very impressed with service, food and the whole experience.
Zio Ristorante – BurnleyI've been quite a few times since my last review and I'm sorry to say that standards seem to be slipping somewhat. This seems to a direct result of their increased popularity as the meals yeaterday weren't up to their usual standards. My granddaughter complained to me about the salad in her hot chicken skewer as the sauce only tasted of vinegar and the salad had not been shredded as is normal. My daughter's hot steak sandwich was on ciabatta, (as it said on the menu but as she'd never had ciabatta she didn't lnow what to expect.) She's now decided that she won't be ordering it again. Finally we come to my all-day breakfast. The "grilled" bacon had been fried and was covered in grease, the sausage wasn't a sausage just a flat meatball with herbs and then fried, also swimming in grease, the mushrooms were tinned and fried, need I go on. The restaurant was very busy that lunchtime and I suspect that this was the cause of most of the problems, so we'll try it at a different time of day.
Sycamore Farm – BurnleyYour indian food is amazing but your chicken nuggets and chips truely horrid. To make it family orientated small portions and better quality nuggets. really horrid nuggets.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyWhat a surprise a real little gem. Decor, service, food well what can I say. Mixed starter, amazing array of starters. Balti Robja for main with the most amazing nan with garlic, lemon rice, washed down with Cobra beer, well worth the money.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyI have been in Burnley Chinese buffet first and last time. We went there on saturday during the day and there was no customers inside only us three. I felt strange, there was no a lot choice in food, all food was about 5 table spoons of all dishes, so when we empty it they bring another 5 table spoons. Sorry but this is the worst chinese buffet in Lancashire and I have been in quite few. Not recommended
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – Burnley(wow) what a Christmas party night we had 16 ladies who enjoyed excellent food, sticky toffee pud to die for!!! entertainment, with a great atmosphere & the service was outstanding. Will be visiting again very soon :) thankyou from all at St. Mary's Sabden.
The Fat Giraffe – BurnleyI was recommended this restaurant by my colleague who is familiar face at the Agra..the food was excellent and service was rushed with not so polite manager...this experience was very much rescued by a very experienced waiter, named kahn, who realised our dismay and lightened our mood with his creative manner and hospitality. I mentioned this to my colleague, who confirmed this professional waiter to be of the very highest quality with mannerism to suit. thank you kahn, we will be back !!
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyExcellent! Good food, nice atmosphere, made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door
Pendle Inn – BurnleyThe best value best food. Service bit slow but well worth the wait, food on time but kept taking cutlery away and had to ask 4 more spoons more forks. Would recommend going back 4 sure .k.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyWonderful experience, Menu, Food, Staff, Ambience, Cleanliness and Hygiene all excellent can't wait to visit again.
Aroma Asian – BurnleyFood was superb, easily the best indian in Burnley. a little expensive on the extras ie drinks and sundries.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyWe've eaten at the Shapla on a number of occasions since it opened and been very happy with the food and service each time. The food is consistently good and IMHO probably the best in the area, taking over that mantle from the Usha. Staff are welcoming and provide attentive service.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyFood was ok, value for money not bad but it's got a long way to go to reach premiere and Shagor standards and quality.
