Me and friends came for a bottomless brunch and had the most amazing time! The food and drinks were fantastic and we never had an empty glass! The cocktails we’re so good and staff were always happy to help. I would definitely recommend the bottomless, great value for money and very looked after from start to finish. Thank you! X

Everytime I visit I am never disappointed. It is always our go to for food out in Burnley town centre. The food is awesome - delicious. The staff are welcoming and sociable. To read on social media that this is the end has truely saddend me. I wish you guys all the luck with future ventures ❤

Visited again for a lovely family meal and as always Astoria did not disappoint. Lovely family friendly atmosphere, amazing food and drink and staff can not do enough for you. Cannot fault this place, 5* all the way.

Enjoyed our meal and or choices were very good. The deal option was quite confusing so we ended up not opting for tapas for that reason. We thought the food came out very fast and we’d finished within 45 minutes. I like to take my time so felt abit rushed. The service was very good and everyone was really friendly. We will definitely visit again

Ellis's is amazing. The burgers were delicious and there was an excellent selection of cocktails. When our bill was brought at the end, I thought there had been a mistake because it was so cheap! The waitresses were all lovely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our 12th anniversary meal so memorable.

Booked a table for 7.15pm waiting on staff took us to a table for 3 when we had booked for 4 people, told to go to bar and order drinks (bar staff looked confused why we was stood at the bar) Bar staff very friendly and professional though. We were seated at a table, middle of the room, very cold no heating. Waited around 15 mins and no one took our order, had to attract waiting on staff attention. Food arrived. All hot and tasty, wrong fries given and changed promptly. Overall the quality of Ellis’s food is just as good as it’s origin on Standish St. just need to sharpen the eating in experience and service.

Not great. We’re seated next to a freezing cold stairwell with a cold aircon fan blowing on our table. Service not good and food overpriced and average tasting. Not worth the hype.

We decided to have our office Christmas lunch here as a break from the traditional offerings and go for Tapas. I'll get the one big negative out of the way first, and then move on to the positives. We were the first set of customers, and the restaurant was freezing cold, but we assumed it was just because they had only just opened and it was a snowy day. We assumed it would warm up. It didn't and the majority of the table kept our coats on for the entire time. Even the person serving us had a scarf on! However, the food was lovely, with lots of variety and as there were 7 of us, we got an array of different dishes. There were no pizzas or garlic bread available as the supplier order was later, but later on, when it arrived we received two complimentary garlic bread for the table, which was very kind! Good vegetarian and vegan options, generous portion sizes and a tasty selection of dishes. One of our party says: 'The best food I've had this year.'

The ‘offer ‘ is 3 dishes for £19.95. We were a party of 3. We placed our orders and waited about 15 mins. I was served 5 pieces of thin cut calamari- nothing else came for another 10mins. I ordered chicken ‘thighs’ I received one tiny thigh on a thimble of red pepper sauce, but no bechamel or walnuts?. This dish is listed at £10.95! My friend also received one of her dishes one small small skewer (£12.95). The waiter then came and explained he forgot to place the order for the pizzas. Another long wait I had a sliver of sea bass and two broccoli stems. I had obviously finished as my friends then had their pizza. Overall a very restrictive menu, more focussed on trying to get people to go down the quick pizza route. Portion sizes are a disgrace - this is not a tapas it’s just a complete rip off.

1st time visiting and we with definitely be back. Food was fresh, well cooked, quick to the table , staff very attentive and service was exallent

Four of us had a lovely evening meal before going to a show at the Mechanics Theatre . Staff very welcoming and the service was excellent .
