We dined on Saturday the 6th September at a pre theatre time of 5.15, We both found the food , service and the restaurant itself , exceptional, And the menu was varied and worth the money . we will be back whenever we are in Buxton . Keith Powell

Couldn’t fault anything, steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, cod was divine. The staff were on the ball and the atmosphere was great.

What a wonderful independent place, a true little find and highly worth the visit. my husband and I had dinner here, we were met with a warm friendly welcome and great food and wine, high recommend any one visiting Buxton or if you haven’t tried it yet pop in.

What a find. Food quality and choice was amazing with meals ranging from burgers to Zebra steaks, the hardest part was deciding what to eat. I was so impressed I took my team back two days after my first encounter. The atmosphere is excellent and service spot on. It has knocked the Thai off the top of my list as my favourite place to eat in Buxton, I will go back.

We only had a main course but couldn’t fault it. The kangaroo steak and chicken pie were cooked to perfection and the chips were the best I’ve had in ages. Service and value for money was also great.

Great meal at Baileys as always, we then stayed downstairs and listened to the singer who kept us all entertained. Great atmosphere and choice of drinks . Credit to all the staff ! Excellent night

I had the Peruvian chicken and my wife the blackened salmon. Two of the best meals we've had for a while (yes we shared a bit!). Atmosphere was great, service nice and prompt. Comfy chairs too. Absolutely fab. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Had a fantastic meal at Bailey’s on Sat night. We were a group of 15 and we all enjoyed our food choices. The fish stew was a real hit. The staff were excellent and service spot on. Would certainly highly recommend and a definite 5 star

Food was great as ever thank you. Service was great. Erin was fantastic and catered to our every need. I'm not one for caring much for service at a restaurant but when it's on another level I notice it. Fantastic music on the speakers during food and ofc from Sonic Duo later on.

An excellent meal for all 6 of us and catered for all needs. Staff very welcoming and friendly through the whole meal. Our second visit and will definitely be returning.

I chose Baileys for my Sons 21st Birthday meal, and i am so glad I did. The staff are friendly and were happy to help with the surprise cake I had brought with me. the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was a Friday evening and had a Bing Crosby style singer on, and he added a positive vibe to our evening. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a relaxed evening with a welcoming feeling, and superb food.

It is only a few weeks since we first went to Bailey's but it was so good first time that we decided to go back on another visit to Buxton. This time it was after a matinee performance at the Opera House. I am glad to say that our meal was just as good as the first time. My wife had the fillet stake, as on our previous visit. I had the lamb rump. Both were excellent. We had the syrup sponge with custard, which may sound rather ordinary but in fact was delicious. I had some Spanish beer too which was was just right for a warm summer's afternoon. Service was first rate. We will definitely be going back!
