King William IV – RoystonWe have visited the King William on several occasions since Carol and Alex took it over. Initially for drinks and recently for dinner. The beer is kept splendidly and the food is exceptionally good. The staff are friendly, efficient, professional and helpful. This must have been a herculean task to rescue the King William from the carnage left by the previous landlord. The King William is now a very pleasant place to visit for relaxing drinks and high quality food, we shall be visiting regularly.
King William IV – RoystonWent there for Sunday Luch and had the roast .It was so delicious I am looking forward to going again We went there for Sunday lunch. It was beautifully presented ample meat and good portion of potatoes. The vegetables were cooked just right. Staff were friendly and really helpful which added to the experience. The only thing which surprised us was the menu said £3 for extra gravy ! Perhaps it was a mistake because we had extra gravy at no extra cost
King William IV – RoystonWe came for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our food which was delicious and well presented. The only thing that surprised us was that two of us chose mains from the specials list but we didn’t realise that this option was almost twice the price of the Sunday roasts, so we did feel the final bill was much higher than we’d expected. Admittedly we should have asked for prices of the specials we were told about, and the ingredients for the special (beef wellington) must have been premium, but it would be good to have more upfront warning about the price.
King William IV – RoystonWent for a weekday meal and it’s only just opened so this review should be taken in context. Food we had was delicious but the menu was odd. Not a lot of real ‘lunch’ choices, more like bizarre snacks mixture. No kids menu. I think it comes into its own in the evenings and Sundays.
King William IV – RoystonVery much enjoyed my tapas and wine. Had a lovely room too.
The Ancient Shepherds – CambridgeA really perfect pizza! Capers and anchovies. delicious!
La Pergola – CambridgePerfect location in Cambridge. Right by the Fitzwilliam museum and Kings College. Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant. Was quiet when were there and therefore very prompt service!
Hotel Du Vin and Bistro – CambridgeWOW!! I have never had Flammkueche before but it is just really super, much lighter than pizza and frankly nicer to eat especially with the really delicious toppings served at Amelie. This place is a great discovery at the Grafton and everything about Amelie is new and unique. Atmosphere, design and service all really special. one of those places I will find an excuse to keep re visiting.
Amelie Flammekueche – CambridgeThis has to be the worst service I have ever had. Manager rude, food cold, raw, poor quality and basically disgusting. Rubbish delivery service, they said 45 mins and it took an hour and a half, It should come with a warning. I will be calling the public health team at the council in the morning.
Royal Spice Restaurant & Takeaway – Cambridgedont bother the food is over cooked very bland all tastes the same , check your bill as my self and many friends have been overcharged for non existant drinks and for sweet which we have never had and finally the staff are very rude and could do with a course in manners and save your money buy a selection of takeaways from your local chinese ,youll enjoyit and get better value !
Lucky Star Chinese Buffet – CambridgeWe went to Restaurant 22 with very high hopes based on other reviews. However, contrary to our expectations we had a terrible experience. It was as if the staff went out of their way to make sure we were almost humiliated. The manager almost kicked us out the door at 10 pm saying that they want to go home as it was late. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Huge disappointment.
