Great food, lovely service, we will definitely be back!

Sunday lunch in the very warm weather. Lovely to sit outside in the garden. The food was delicious, service good. One or two things were forgotten but we can forgive that in this heat. The beef was delicious, the cocktail menu looked tempting altho we had already had wine. Would recommend andxwill definitely come back. Thank you.

Having only moved locally last November we have now been to the Pheasant around 7-8 times now for lunch and enjoyed every visit. The food & staff have been excellent and the location is just lovely - its just so peaceful and relaxing.

We hadn't visited the Pheasant for many years but having it recommended to after so many years, we couldn't not pay a very overdue visit. We dined there on Saturday as a wedding anniversary celebration. The food was absolutely amazing. We both thoroughly enjoyed our menu choices and loved our dessert plate surprise wishing us a happy anniversary. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough, although, if I'm absolutely honest, service was a little slow at first but the attention, food and friendliness made up for it. We can't wait to visit again, and can't thank the whole team at The Pheasant enough for giving us a fabulous evening. The extra icing on the cake was being able to sit outside in the evening sun to enjoy our meal. A stunning place; a perfect setting and fantastic food. Highly recommended. See you again soon.

The Pheasant is a great place to eat. The food is 1st class, the staff are all very polite and the owner is a lovely person. The carpark is very spacious so there is no worries if you want to bring your weekend car out of the garage.

We booked a big table for the curry night and it was fantastic. The food was great and the service was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful night.

Always enjoy The Pheasant. Lovely , relaxed and friendly service. The staff are top notch. Food is always innovative, tasty and in decent size portions. First ever disappointment on Sunday as the baked lemon cheesecake we found to be really not up to the same standard of all the other dishes / food. Would have given 5 out of 5 if the cheesecake was better. Will not stop us returning though. The Pheasant is a real gem

Excellent food, great wine and very friendly service at the Pheasant at lunchtime on 24th June. Even better when one can walk there and back home again through beautiful countryside!

The Pheasant is a long time favourite of mine over many years, even before the extension! Looking for a half way point to meet up and my suggestion proved to be a success, my Step Mother loved the venue and enjoyed the food, as I always do. Agreed this will be a regular trip when we meet up. See you again soon and so nice to see you so busy for a Friday lunch time :)

Lovely rural pub in pretty village. We had a delicious supper al fresco. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lots of options including vegetarian. Looking forward to trying Sunday Lunch!
