The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonMyself my wife and our daughter went for a roast was the best roast we have had in a long time lovely atmosphere lovely surroundings staff were great food arrived quickly and hot Definitely would recommend and we will definitely be back
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonExcellent Stayed here for one night and had evening meal and breakfast Both were excellent, nothing too much trouble for the Chef and his staff We had a really enjoyable stay Thanks
The Crown Inn – PeterboroughAbsolutely first class in every respect Thoroughly recommend this Pub restaurant
The Crown Inn – PeterboroughWe have visited the King William on several occasions since Carol and Alex took it over. Initially for drinks and recently for dinner. The beer is kept splendidly and the food is exceptionally good. The staff are friendly, efficient, professional and helpful. This must have been a herculean task to rescue the King William from the carnage left by the previous landlord. The King William is now a very pleasant place to visit for relaxing drinks and high quality food, we shall be visiting regularly.
King William IV – RoystonDelicious food, excellent service with friendly and attentive staff. The perfect combination and thoroughly recommended.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonFood was good and tasty. Wasn’t sure if chicken mousse starter was supposed to be hot, warm or cold? It was warm on the outside but cold in centre. Service was over efficient. We were very rushed to finish up and move onto next course. Plates were removed when finishing the last mouthful of food. Next course delivered immediately. No time to savour and digest. Knowing this was an anniversary meal, we were asked to order drinks before being offered a wine list, given little time to select our food and we’re walking out of the pub just 50 minutes after walking in. Not the dining experience we were expecting for our special night out!
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonOur 1st visit and hopefully not the last! Celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary ,we absolutely enjoyed our Sunday Lunch that was well served by attentive staff and delicious. Finally a walk around your beautiful village was sublime.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonBirthday lunch treat. Good food.service etc. Will be back.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonSuch a lovely lunch. There were six of us , three generations, (a day) early Mother’s Day lunch. The food was excellent, staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great. Couldn’t fault it and really looking forward to our next visit.
The Pheasant at Keyston – Huntingdonlovely offering again from The Pheasant, even after booking last minute for a party of 6, including a coeliac. Great wine list and the service is always brings a smile. Happy to share our local gem!
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonWent there for Sunday Luch and had the roast .It was so delicious I am looking forward to going again We went there for Sunday lunch. It was beautifully presented ample meat and good portion of potatoes. The vegetables were cooked just right. Staff were friendly and really helpful which added to the experience. The only thing which surprised us was the menu said £3 for extra gravy ! Perhaps it was a mistake because we had extra gravy at no extra cost
King William IV – RoystonWe came for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our food which was delicious and well presented. The only thing that surprised us was that two of us chose mains from the specials list but we didn’t realise that this option was almost twice the price of the Sunday roasts, so we did feel the final bill was much higher than we’d expected. Admittedly we should have asked for prices of the specials we were told about, and the ingredients for the special (beef wellington) must have been premium, but it would be good to have more upfront warning about the price.
King William IV – RoystonConsistently excellent - so good, I went twice in the last two weeks. Would highly recommend. Food = great. Waiting staff = great (makes all the difference having a great team), venue = great. Altogether a winner!
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonWent for a weekday meal and it’s only just opened so this review should be taken in context. Food we had was delicious but the menu was odd. Not a lot of real ‘lunch’ choices, more like bizarre snacks mixture. No kids menu. I think it comes into its own in the evenings and Sundays.
King William IV – RoystonThis was our first visit to the Pheasant and it won't be our last. We only ate two courses: main and dessert, and they were amazing. The service was first class. We knew it had a good reputation and consider it was well earnt. Definitely recommended.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonMy partner and I had an amazing lunch fit my birthday, service was attentive without being intrusive.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonBooked a table for Sunday lunch for four with a little dog. The table given to us was fine but was worried about the dog being nosy and trying to wander into the walkway which was close to our table with the staff bringing out food and drink. The manager understood and offered us a different table which was much better. Very friendly accommodating staff. Food was great. The starters were amazing. The Sunday roast was delicious. Great lunch out in a beautiful ye olde English pub setting.
