My wife and I visited today,so we could enjoy a leisurely lunch together, what a disappointment, we entered the premises at approx12.15pm, there were only 4 people seated for lunch. A waitress said she would be with us in a minute, we stood at the bar, no bar staff. We continued to wait, my wife then went to toilet, on her return I was still waiting. The waitress reappeared, ignored me and went attend the seated guests,how appalling and so embarrassing. What a way to treat customers, no social skills and obviously not a people's person. Such a shame when there are so many people looking for work, who could and would fill the criteria necessary. Rating 0.................

28.6.14 Approx 15.30pm. The Aubrey Arms, Bonvilston. The bowl was dirty. The bread was stale. The butter was salty. The soup was watery and tasteless. And they have the gall to serve this with a smile and charge £5.95. I've had better at a soup kitchen at 80 less cost at double the servings. There is a skill to ripping people off at the pretence of being a high class restaurant and they succeed. Sir Thomas Aubrey would no doubt be proud of their shenanigans .Mind you I ate it all and paid up.

Brewers Fayre Tonypandy gone down hill, every time we turn up busy or not cannot find a clean table. Food plates and glasses everywhere we have had to ask for a cloth 9 out of 10 times and move dirty plates to another dirty table to make room. Always asking for cutlery serviettes. Staff a little bit shocked when asked to clean a table as if it is beneath them, not customer friendly. Last time we went price of carvery had gone up again meat chef was limiting the small yorkshire puds and cutting the meat as thin and small as possible. When asked if she was on a budget with the meat the response was only doing what I was told. Anyway if your looking for a cheap and nasty carvery, dirty tables cutlery no customer care please visit Tonypandy Brewers Fayre, thanks Lee

The best service and food I've ever eaten! Friendly environment and people. I suggest it to all of my friends and aquaintances of mine when they visit the area!!

Went there today for my father in law's 70 th! Gorgeous food lovely staff. HIGHLY recommended! The butternut squash goats cheese lasagne is stunning! See you next week:)

This is a very friendly public house with food to match any chain style restaurant / bar type of place . Very pleased I went and would frequent this house at any time .

Used this restaurant on saturday the food is fair but the ambience and service need to be improved . Will not go back sorry.

When food was delivered it did not look good at all, the chicken was rock hard,dried up and totally inedible. I phoned the restaurant to ask for a refund and was passed to several people until I got the manager I explained the problem and asked for a refund the managers reply was "f*** you, I have customers to serve" before hanging up on me. They also advised that any refund would be made through a card, even though I paid on delivery and the manager was insistent on me supplying my card details. I advised under the sale of goods act the food is unfit for purpose and they have to refund the way it was paid, they still refused. I've been in contact with Just Eat - who were extremely helpful - but even they could not get the restaurant to refund me. The restaurant wanted me to take it back to them to get a refund!!! I should not be running around after them, if they were any decent restaurant they would return the money I had paid. Will never use these again as the food is disgusting, the manager is rude and is not interested. Once they have your money they don't care. Do not pay these by cash, pay by card as you can then do an indemnity claim to get your money back. I will also be reporting these to Trading Standards due to the way these cowboys have acted once they had the money. Worst restaurant and service ever. Be warned people that if you have to contact them you will be treated with utter contempt for making them aware of bad service that they provide!They've also stated that they don't care about customer service as they've had loads of complaints previously and feel that they're better than everyone else...

I have been fortunate enough to visit Alfreds as part of a band and the atmosphere was so good. Returned there to have a meal with my family.

Been going there for 12 years,f ood always good and I'm very fussy when it comes to Indian food.

Very good been twice, enjoyed both times very freindly and relaxed.

I'm researching my family tree and I've learned that my great grand parents, Samuel and Susan Loveless, were the inn keepers from 1880-1890.My grandmother and all her siblings were born in the inn. I would greatly appreciate a photo of the inn. If you have the ability to email me a photo i would be so grateful. Four of us had lunch here yesterday and were very impressed. The staff were very friendly. I had Cauliflower, leek and potato soup followed by Chicken with a mustard sauce - delicious. We shall be in Cardiff again on 11th April and will certainly be eating here again. (Possibly with about 8 - 10 friends)
