Recently had Sunday lunch at the open Hearth Inn and the food was of a very high standard all vegetables were cooked to perfection and not over cooked the staff were very friendly and welcoming, Will definitely return.
Open Hearth Inn – PontypoolI am absolutely disgusted with the service myself and family received on the 30th December 2013, at approximately 16:00.There were 8 of us in total and were sat in the family area of the restaurant. We were told there was a 30 minute waiting time which we didn't mind, but after an hour waiting our food still hadn't arrived. We asked the waitress about our food to which she went then come back stating they had lost out order during service. The waitress did not apologise and went back talking to her friends on a different table . when the food finally arrived after an hour the pizza was burnt.We order a different food to which it arrived at a different table and yet again no apology. The restaurant was so hot we nearly passed out .Not happy at all!

Also the people on the next table were complaining about their meal. We have eaten in other Harvester never had a problem someone needs to sort the problems out (quality of where food is bought )!!!!

I love visiting this store for the best curry and chips around, and the friendliest service of any Penarth or Cardiff restaurant! Thanks to everyone in this location, this southern-California girl has a craving for that incredible Plassey Fish grub!! Five Stars for Excellence--no one does it better!!

Will never return while it is under current management. Completely unnacceptable and police report has been filed!

Three Horseshoes Inn – NewportI ate at the Olde Oak 5th September 2013 - Excellent service food was delicious and perfectly presented. My fiancee had The Paella I had the Tango A la Chay ( A perfect Chimmichurri sauce over a tender sirloin steak) -- Very nice Latino food!

Butterflies – Pontypool18/08/13 my husband and I ordered 2 mixed grills and drinks [total 40 pounds] when the meal arrived we had no mushrooms or any poached eggs, the waiter was sorry and went too tell the manger and get the rest of our order, after waiting 5 minutes the rest of our order arrived. the waiter came back too see if ever thing was alright, I told him that it was not, as my husband had found a fly cooked in his poached egg, he said he was very sorry and would get the manager, removing the eggs we tried too carry on with our meal but the moment had gone. no manager came anywhere near us , I went to the bar to see the waiter he had even forgot who we were . As I told the waiter we have been to the pub many times before with friends and family and we will never go back again.

Chepstow Castle Inn, The – ChepstowWe had our wedding reception here when it was the Surf House back in the 1970's so this place has always held a special place in our hearts. As Castellamare, we have returned time and time again, bringing visitors sometimes, as we know the service and quality can always be relied on. We especially love the little after shot of Limoncello to round off the evening. Looking forward to our next evening to celebrate my birthday with all the family.
