Zaal – SwanseaThe twelve knights is a great place to stay. The rooms are so clean and the food is superb. Cheap and cheerful. Friendly staff!!
Twelve Knights Hotel – Port TalbotFood is out of this world as advertised and very fast delivery one of the best establishments in Cardiff please open more of Mario's Food Planet's there are 2 the latest being in Pentwyn
Marios Food Planet – Cardiffbest restaurant ever
Sheesh Mahal Tandoori Restaurant – LlanelliDined there for the first time ever after reading all the comments left here and i must say that Bengal Lancer is truly the best curry house in the whole of Llanelli. They have an extensive menu and because i was stuck for choice asked the younger waiter for a recommendation and he gave a superb recommendation to both me and my wife and we were absolutely blown away by the level of service as well as the food. Bengal Lancer is well and truly an amazing place to dine and i would recommend this place to anyone who is either visiting or living in Llanelli! Good Luck to the Bengal Lancer for the future!!
Bengal Lancer – Llanelli£86 for a meal for two. Starter, main, sorbet, Sweet, Coffee, Bottle of cheap plonk. Seemed a bit much to me, the food just ok. The dining room had the atmosphere of a school exam room. We didn’t even have a dining chair to sit at the table, it was a silly chair that made you slouch and hence terribly uncomfortable to eat. The staff were of variable performance. There was also a horrendous din from the bar all bloody night.
Angel Hotel – AbergavennyWe would like to have enjoyed an afternoon coffee and a dessert, only we were turned away for having our two young girls with us, 3 and 5, as "children are not allowed unless they take a full meal". Never heard anything less friendly and rude! Nice coffee shop over the road, pleased we went there instead.
Friars Vaults – HaverfordwestGood selection of "homemade" dishes. 2 meals for the price of 1 after 3. Various local real ales, featured in The Good Beer Guide many years running.
Queens Hotel – CarmarthenLarge, varied "homemade" menu to suit all tastes including locally landed fish. 2 course lunch & early evening specials for £9.95. Visiting The Lyric? There is a 10% discount for pre-performance meals.
Hamiltons Brasserie – CarmarthenAbsolutely shit food!!!! Their service is bloody garbage! Dont have a clue how they won the curry award! Must have paid the judges. The waiters are a bunch of idiots. The Verandah or Bengal Lancer are 100% better than this shit pit. They really need a new chef and staff. The young boy there is the biggest asshole in the world
Sheesh Mahal Tandoori Restaurant – LlanelliWent there the night Wales beat England. Arrived at 1:00am and the restaurant was absolutely bouncing with people. Got seated by a young chap. Got served by a young chap, with very good manners. he single handedly served the whole restaurant and with a smile. Where as the other three waiters were running around like headless chicken! The other three waiters there were absolutely awful! Their manners were appalling and their customer service to the table next to us was disgusting! The only good thing about this place is their food and the fact that they are late night. JUST LIKE THE CURRY GARDENS/SIZZLING BALTI. INFACT EVERYONE IN LLANELLI CALLS THIS PLACE THE NEW CURRY GARDENS. Recommendation to the owners: CHANGE YOUR NAME TO CURRY GARDENS!!!!!
Bengal Lancer – Llanellibasically the fox is my favourite eatery and has been for the last few years. the downside of late is that keep putting their prices up here and there. 50p on this, 75p on that. it used to be somewhere to pop out to during the week but now i tend to only go at the weekends - credit crunch etc etc overall though, the staff are fantastic (slightly more mature than your usual pub), they always have a selection of fine real ales and the atmosphere is chilled cheers pete
The Fox – NewportGood selection of locally produced fresh meat and fish dishes, prepared to a high standard and excellent service.
Remos Wine Bar – NeathDaiquiris' food gave me food poisoning. I had a cheeseburger and chips. I was pooping and spewing for ten days and had to go to hospital in the end because I was so ill. I reported the case which was investigated but I was never compensated for the food or the ill affect that it had on my guts. I did not even get an apology from the greasy owners. I will never go back and recommend that you stay well away from this nasty, overpriced and undercooked skankhole.
Daiquiris Restaurant – CardiffMerola's is definitely the best restaurant in Wales. Speiro always makes you feel welcome and always remembers your face whether you were there the night before or the year before. The atmosphere is always relaxed and pleasant and the food is gorgeous. My favourite 3 course meal is white bait to start with Pollo Cesare (which is chicken topped with ham & cheese in a homemade tomato sauce) for main and to finish homemade tiramasu. Simply the best. All for under £20 great value for money.
Merolas – Cardiffi it absolutely gorgeous i would marry it !! i think it is the best restaurant ever !!
Pillars Restaurant – CardiffHad food poisoning for 3 weeks after a meal here. I have heard that it is supposed to be a good Indian but two others in the party had to go to the Doctors for food poisoning - I'll never go again.
Anarkali Tandoori Restaurant – Swansearubbish hospitality, not recommended in the slightest. didn't even have a chance to eat the food as our table had been cancelled by themselves. We where told we could eat there, If we wanted an hours wait. No drinks offered for their mistake ad nowhere to sit, They tried to blame on us and even denied us making the booking saying that we had booked elsewhere. Our name and number was clearly in their book scribbled out. Ruined a birthday surprise!
