The Sage & Vine is without a doubt my favourite place to eat in Carlisle, I have enjoyed every thing I have eaten there & loved the wine to go with the fantastic food. The staff especially front of house is so nice & friendly I recommend it to everyone who has a mind to listen!!!!

Not as good was previous visit. Chicken was over cooked and hard. Vegetables mushy and overcooked. One of our pasta dishes was also overcooked too soft. Probably wouldn’t visit again. Gone down hill.

Great central spot in Carlisle for a lovely meal. Visited on an overnight stop and couldn’t have asked for better. Good was delicious and the staff were brilliant. Thank you!

Fantastic yet again. Went with friends who had never been before, and our server went above and beyond explaining different dishes, giving recommendations, and advising on how many dishes would be the right amount per person. Food was just lovely and the atmosphere is great. You are always made to feel very welcome. Sage and Vine never disappoints.

Amazing food once again! Brought some friends and family from Lancashire and they LOVED it here! The food, the wine and just the vibe! Cant wait to bring more people to my new favourite restaurant in the area!

Food was great, pasta dishes especially! Staff were friendly and always on top of asking if you need anything else or another drink etc. Lovely space and atmosphere, already can't wait to go back!

From the first phone call to enquire to settling the final bill the staff as a team were fantastic! Service was amazing and attentative and everyone at our table of 12! Had a great night!
