Wonderful evening once again. Great service and fabulous food.

Visited with my family whilst on a visit to Carlisle. Easy to book on line in advance. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was rather slow to arrive but we were there at the busiest time of day, however it was certainly worth the wait. Between us we had pasta, pizza and fresh salmon (not to mention the desserts) and all were absolutely delicious :) I would gladly recommend a visit.

Another wonderful meal here at La Mezzaluna. My sister and I have been here 3 time now. The food is amazing and Brought to your table quickly. The atmosphere and the staff are great. I would highly recommend thus restaurant to anyone. We are looking forward to dining here again soon.

Food was perfect l, piping hot and still bubbling from being fresh put of the cooker. Staff very attentive and seen straight away, left alone to enjoy the meal with no interruptions. Definitely be back at the end of this month.

Always amazing food & service

Lovely food and staff. We were seated promptly and the food didn’t take long at all! Only slight issue was it was a bit noisy however but it did quieten down as we ate. Would definitely come back!

Second visit to Sage & Vine, and will be back again soon. Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and the best staff, who are so friendly, welcoming and attentive.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a restaurant review on this page, but this restaurant has driven me to it. It was astonishing value for money with delicious food and great staff. I can’t complain about anything. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting and will definitely be back

We were staying at a local campsite and The Greyhound was recommended. Checking its website it looked just what we were looking for. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a very friendly face and led is to a table. I had the Chicken with a Leek,Bacon and Cheddar Cheese sauce and my hubby had the Double Burger with Bacon. Excellent service super pub food in a great atmosphere . The locals were having a great time and included us. Next time we are in the area we will return. A good night out 5*.

We were only in Carlisle for approximately 2 hours having travelled on the Midland Pullman. I had booked the restaurant in advance and was very pleased with our choice. There was a cosy feeling to the restaurant and an excellent and varied menu. We both went for the home made vegetable soup and the salmon in a lemon sauce with chips and vegetables. Very tasty and filling. We could not manage a sweet. If I lived local to the restaurant I would re-visit. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. E very good experience and fair value for money.

La Mezzaluna has a fab atmosphere. Menu is extensive and prices are good. Service is always spot-on and you don't ever feel rushed! Well done La Mezzaluna!

Every time we go to Carlisle make a point of going to the restaurant we never get a bad meal and we have been a few times that staff are always nice and friendly and the service is great
