Amazing food and atmosphere here on Saturday afternoon. Service was excellent. Can't wait to come back.

Ok the weather outside was terrible but the welcome inside La Mezzaluna quickly warmed us up. After an afternoon of shopping we were ready for a nice restaurant to relax in. La Mezzaluna didn’t disappoint. it’s a small bustling family run place with really excellent food at great prices. My wife took the recommended seabass which was outstanding and I enjoyed a great pasta dish. Don’t miss out on the bruschetta or focaccia mista which are on a par with the best we’ve had. The Puglian red wine was a real treat! We’re already talking about when we can make our next visit and hopefully the weather will be better!

I can’t believe a lovely Italian restaurant has been this close to the train station all this time and we’ve been missing out! It’ll definitely become a regular haunt for us when we travel from Dumfriesshire for shopping trips. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and very efficient.

Went for lunch yesterday and the service and food was excellant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had 2 tables one for the teenagers and one for the mams it was perfect! Thanks

Another amazing meal served by lovely friendly staff can’t wait to return Our only down side was we were a table of two seated among two large parties and it was extremely noisy

Lovely food and friendly efficient service. Only downside was it was very noisy where we were as there was a large party in.
