Very pleasant mid week lunch with plenty of choice. Food was delicious and well presented. Waiting staff very helpful. Unfortunately , it was the hottest day of the year and we couldn't manage a pudding! But we will be back! ,

Lovely Sunday lunch - all the courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Servers were great- very friendly and attentive. It’s a gorgeous pub - we’ve had lunch outside before but first time a proper family meal and we will definitely do that again.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and we would definitely eat here again.

A perfect evening out with a lovely calm atmosphere ,beautiful food and refreshing drink in a comforting setting. Pippa and Michela were so caring and looked after all our needs.

Had another lovely lunch 3 June - pre going to Greenwood's hotel spa opposite! Friendly staff, food good & well priced. We always meet there before going to the spa hotel, and will do that again.

Six of us for Sunday lunch, we all had the roast and it was delicious. We sat out in the garden and were well looked after, the staff are so friendly and we received excellent service. We all had different desserts which we all enjoyed. Highly recommend this pub and will definitely return

A lovely ladies lunch. We had a table in the restaurant garden, which is a sunny sheltered spot. Beautiful climbing roses surround and the furniture is very comfortable. The ladies who looked after us were very friendly and accommodating. The lunch menu is great and competitively priced with something for everyone. Our little party of 3 had a great catch up and they even have provence rosé!

Absolute lovely food, atmosphere and service at amazing prices. Staff were friendly. I would recommend.

We recently came for lunch (14 of us). From the time of booking to the actual lunch, we found the staff very friendly and accommodating. One guest mentioned their soup was salty so unable to eat and scampi undercooked to their liking, but noted the waitress was helpful when it was pointed out to her. We found the bill confusing with how food and drink was listed but again the waitress was very helpful and patient in explanations. Food ( we had a variety from the paninis, seafood grill, omelette, salmon, jacket potato and burger) and service was good and we were really made to feel welcome. When we are in the area we will visit again!

Lovely lunch present for 80th birthday, Food was great . Mixed sea food grill amazing. Very generous portions, chicken pie great also , too much for my brother. Staff very friendly

Excellent food and service. One of our party had food allergies and these were acknowledged when taking our food order and catered for. It's a lovely pub with a good atmosphere and smiling staff. Would definitely recommend
