Food was excellent. Steak perfectly cooked and truffle fries were delicious. Atmosphere was slightly ruined by the music being too loud. Will try again when it's not late on a Friday night. Service was disappointing due to very inexperienced and junior wait staff. Wine list could be better. Caz seems like a great guy though and keen to fix issues, so this could be a great local restaurant.
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordThe best roast we've ever had. The gravy was something else! Lovely decor and good vibe inside, the owner Caz is very nice and welcoming. We are looking forward to trying their other dishes and have infact already booked in to their Mowtown Wednesday.

Seven Elephant Indian Restaurant – ChelmsfordWow what a nice place for lunch we went yesterday 23 july 2014 for lunch. 2 adults 2 children really nice food for the price, even have chicken nuggets for the kids. Plates cleared from table very quickly. Waiters were very freindly specially to the children aged 5 twins. All in all we had a very good time and all for less than £20,great.

Nando’s – ChelmsfordWild wood chelmsford was very nice although it was packet, service was fast and staff were helpful. I had the platter as a starter and it was brilliant and the prawns were outstanding with the sauce. For my main course i had the chicken Milanese which was brilliant and i would recommend it to anyone. The restaurant was very nice as it had couples on dates and young families. Even though the food was brilliant the price was low and i would give it 4 and a half stars.
Wildwood – ChelmsfordWent to wildwood at half 1 on a Thursday lunchtime, the setting is great and the restaurant looked nice, unfortunately that's all the positives I have to give! We were shown to a table quickly enough but then we sat there for 25 mins before someone remembered we were there. Our order was taken and the drinks arrived promptly with an apology, then the wait for the food begun which is even worse when one is agitated and hungry! Eventually it arrived after 20 mins (for 2 cheeseburgers, the restaurant was not even 20 full and we were the only table that was not eating!). The food is average at best and thus making it overpriced. Then there was THE cardinal sin placed upon me, a hair in my food. Needless to say I won't be returning and will be advising anybody to do the same!
