The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneAmazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. Highly recommend to anyone!
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneExcellent food and service in a pleasant atmosphere
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneFood and service were excellent. The restaurant was extremely noisy meaning myself and my wife could hardly hold a conversation. This would put me off going back on a Friday night
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneWe went with our Niece and her husband for Sunday Lunch. Never been before and were pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was very good, food very good and staff were very nice. We would go again.
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneThe Baker’s Arms is a cut above pub grub and is our ‘go to’ for a pub lunch. The food is reliably good quality, the service always friendly by local staff and, weather permitting, you can sit outside. It’s also on the 300 bus route so we can all take advantage of good beer and the wine list.
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneWent to celebrate my father in laws 98 birthday , he’s hard of hearing and uses a walker , the staff were amazing with him . The food and service was really good . Food was fresh and hot and the staff made sure we was ok without being in your face
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneWent there to celebrate my dad’s 98 birthday. Could not fault the staff making sure he was safe and comfortable. The food was lovely and fresh and hot. Good variety of lunchtime menu and evening. Did not try Sunday roast, so cannot comment on that.
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneWe recently had a delightful lunch to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday, surrounded by cherished friends and family. Joining us were my oldest school friend, her lovely daughter, and both our mums. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter as we reminisced about old times and created new memories. The restaurant provided a cozy and inviting ambiance, perfect for our special celebration. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The menu was a hit with everyone. Some of Us had the Caesar salad, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of dressing, the pork and cider pie was a hearty delight, with tender meat and a rich, flavorful gravy that complemented the crust beautifully. The cheese and red onion jacket potato was a comforting choice, with the creamy cheese and sweet onion melding together wonderfully (its a firm favourite!). Each dish was perfectly prepared and added to the joy of our gathering. The presentation was lovely, and the portions were generous, ensuring that everyone left satisfied. Overall, it was a memorable day, made even more special by the presence of lifelong friends. Celebrating such a significant milestone with those who have been part of our journey for so long was truly heartwarming. The restaurant provided the perfect setting for this joyous occasion, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneGreat so easy and reassuring to confirm booking on line good Sunday lunch and great service
The Bakers Arms – IngatestoneNice food... warm and welcoming staff. The music was really great too... The Library Ingatestone is a precious little find, we like it here!!!
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordOwner is horrendous and selfish, with no regard for neighbours or the community. Food is vile and cooked by an unqualified chef and the owner, drinks are severely limited and their staff is all under 18! Shocking service, food, drinks and decor - hopefully this shuts down as soon as possible and leave this lovely village.
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordGreat atmosphere and hospitality by the owner, the manager and the team. Chef excellent and personal touch checking in with our table. Would recommend for a great place for drinks pre and after dinner too
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordExcellent place!
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordDisappointed to be honest owner lovely and welcoming starters turned up cold main meal was nice. There are no vegetarian or vegan options no chicken on menu staff need far more training one of my party asked for steak and was not asked how he would like it cooked. We had just finished our main was not asked if we wanted dessert or coffee instead asked to move to the bar which meant we could not continue our conversation and they didn’t even use our table. Very over priced should just be a bar sorry will not be returning.
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordWould not go back again. Service extremely slow, starter took an hour to arrive at table, and wasn’t worth the wait. The anchor fish and chip shop across the road would have been more appeasing. Had to pour own drinks and self serve. Would definitely not go back.
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordAbsolutely loved our visit! The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The food was amazing, full of flavour and generous portions. I’m looking forward to returning.
Library Ingatestone – ChelmsfordReally nice decor and the food was lovely. The cocktails were disappointing, and a wine list wasn't offered as standard, which is a shame. This bar would be better sticking to the classic cocktails as their own inventions aren't the best. The food was great though, we shared some starters and sides.
