We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Croft this weekend. We had the pork belly special, the Croft burger and the apple crumble for dessert. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It would be great if you would consider extending your dinner service to 2 hours as an hour and a half felt a little rushed and we were asked to pay our bill whilst still eating dessert.

Having recently stayed at a Premier Inn and experienced Brewers Fayre buffet breakfast, it shows how much different and better freshly cooked is. Could have stayed there all morning.

Pre ordering meant no one was disappointed and both my wife and I had the celeriac fillet which was delicious. The service as per usual was exemplary, despite being full and 2 waitresses, nothing was delayed and they could obviously cope. They make the Croft what it is.

If ever we are in a journey south, we make a point of going out of our way to stop off here for breakfast which really sets us up for the long journey ahead. We were made to feel very welcome, staff were so polite and helpful and patient with us all. Food was amazing. Could not fault anything. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamI have been three times and have always ordered the chicken burger and it’s delicious so would recommend however the service everytime has been slow and I’ve definitely had better. Even when it wasn’t at a busy time, the waitresses never had time to come over and ask if ‘everything is okay’ and each time we have wanted to have desserts however it took so long to get there attention that we went somewhere else. Mix feelings on this place but food is good.

I haven’t any idea where they’re sourced but the tea cake is one of the best I have ever tasted. My next visit was for an early breakfast- staff as always were very friendly and helpful. Poached eggs soft and salmon were absolutely scrumptious. Donna has created a superb team to help her and the food provided is excellent My thanks to all involved
