Food was ok, but the Service was terrible, we had a starter and main course which were served promptly, then it went downhill, we weren’t asked if we would like anymore drinks, if we would like the desert menu, which we would have had, I finally got to ask a young lad if we could have a desert menu, then left us and never came back to ask if we would like to order, so after half an hour decided to get the bill, and leave. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there unless they don’t mind poor service.

I have to say we had a dreadful experience at The Croft, really dissatisfied. The staff are all very inexperienced and the food was very poor. I ordered the pie of the day and it simply wasn’t a pie. When delivered to our table I asked if there was any gravy? This was met with a simple ‘no, that’s in the pie’. The pie was a small tasteless pot of chicken, mushrooms and stock, with a slice of packet puff pastry popped loosely on top. When the waitress asked how my meal was I say ‘the pie is a bit weird and not great’, she responded with an enthusiastic ‘GREAT!’ (clearly not listening). We did find this amusing though and was probably our highlight. Don’t bother with this one!

1) Lots of staff available during our early evening visit, but the table service was chaotic and slow. 2) Quality of food was good, but parts of both the starter and the main course were served luke warm. 3) Could have been so much better with a little more attention and considered management.

A lovely place to eat lovely atmosphere staff friendly superb food would highly recommend

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Croft with my wife for her birthday,lovely setting inside,lovely food with good service and friendly staff,my wife also had a couple off Pimms and Lemonade,she said it was best she’d had loved it,all round lovely evening,many thanks

Great food, value for money, helpful staff. Highly recommend a Croft breakfast! Have also been here for evening meals - they too are lovely. If possible not using soya in the cooking oil would be wonderful!

No atmosphere and very poor drinks menu. Chicken burger was dry and flavourless, BBQ pulled pork burger was better but still not as flavourful as you expect from BBQ pulled pork.

Excellent food and wine. ebooking fouled up( not noted on receipt) but well sorted (luckily for all). Service could be tuned up a bit-but it is covid era so inefficiency is understandable. Overall, one of the few good BoW evening eateries.

My friend and I always come here for breakfast such a lovely place great food and a great team of waiters/ waitresses.

We had a great time at The Croft restaurant. It was easy to book a table and the staff was very polite and attentive. The food quantity was perfect and it was very tasty. We loved the whole experience and ambiance. We would love to visit again!

Stumbled across The Croft online when looking for somewhere to breakfast whilst on hols. Booking was easy. Staff really friendly and food was DELICIOUS! Recommend the breakfast brioche :) Set up for COVID with a QR code menu and saw tables and chairs being thoroughly sanitised. Would recommend.

Went there for Friday night dinner , I had the beef burger and my partner the veggie burger Could quite condifidently say best burger we had in quite a while Wine was delicious too Lovely atmosphere and staff friendly

Good atmosphere, fast service, delicious burger and steak (on the specials menu). Cosy pub on a rainy afternoon.

We came with high expectations, unfortunately the service was very slow with getting a drink taking about 25 mins and food order a further 20mins. White wine ordered was not well chilled perhaps it had been poured earlier but took time to be delivered - added ice to the wine. Staff appeared to be inexperienced.
