Food was amazing and so was the outdoor seating area. One of our items of food never arrived and we were forgotten towards the end when we wanted more drinks and desserts. Other tables around us that arrived a lot later were taken care of first.

Had a great meal and service, one of our favourite places to eat, I noticed a lady on the next table received her bill and questioned the service charge with raised eyebrows but paid, I could tell she wasn’t happy about it, When my bill arrived I asked the waitress was this charge compulsory as it’s automatically added with nothing said, I was told it was at the customer’s discretion, so had it taken off. I know this charge is used in some countries, and I don’t mind tipping for good service, but this should be down to the individuals to choose. I do love this place but do think this could stop some people from returning.

We went for the most delicious Sunday breakfast this last weekend. The staff were so friendly to us and our puppy who came with. Very vibey atmosphere and lovely menu choices !

We visited on the first week of lockdown 3 lifting. The team were great, looked after us immensely. We ate breakfast all the days we were there and evening meal. The food as always was great, we visited with a newborn and young son and they were very attentive making sure we were seated quickly and was comfortable. This is our go to place when visiting bourton and we are never disappointed. Lots of measures brought in with covid and felt very secure there. Well done and welcome back !

First night out post Covid lockdown...Donna and her team have made a fantastic effort to create a safe, inviting and welcoming environment...the food was great, beware chilli sauce is spicy but not too fiery....Thank you we had a lovely evening.

Lovely Mexican themed meal. Food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and even in these strange times there was a good atmosphere .

Had a lovely meal at the Croft Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The meal was very nice and would definitely go back there.

Had such a wonderful time at The Croft for Thursday theme night - food was delicious, as always, service faultless, the young servers were very COVID careful, a real credit to the place. So happy to be able to back at our go to local eaterie. Highly recommended .

We went to The Croft for the American themed night , and also as it was the 2nd day out of lockdown - and as per usual - were not disappointed at all. Food was fantastic - I had the dirty hot dog with onions, my wife had Mac n Cheese - and was delicious. And Oreo Cheesecake was to die for. The waiter and waitress who looked after us - you couldn't ask for anything better - friendly, professional and they realised without us having to say anything that my wife was having garlic bread as a side instead of a starter. We love The Croft and the past few times we've been there enhances this everytime - will definitely go back (well, we are both Christmas Eve and New Year's Day). Donna has a brilliant team.

The Croft is our go to place for being our favourite local restaurant, great atmosphere, food and great service, the theme nights are awesome you will be guaranteed a good night. All Covid rules are maintained and they make everyone as comfortable as they can .

We had a fabulous meal whilst on a recent visit to Bourton-on-the-Water. The Seabass was the best I’ve tasted in a long time and the sticky toffee pudding was unforgettable. The service was very friendly and the position next to the river is delightful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just bought a holiday home in Stow and went to The Talbot for pub meal.Way exceeded expectations great home made food ,fantastic friendly service and also quick...my husband hates waiting! Steak and ale pie was superb as was lasagne. Would highly recommend and the landlord was really welcoming.

I took my daughters for dinner at the Croft and it was excellent. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating (which is so important when you are out with younger children). I look forward to going back for their amazing sticky toffee pudding once lockdown is over.

Excellent home made fresh pub food. Very good service and well organised re Covid. We often eat here when in Stow. Good selection of drinks, nice fire. Maybe it’s our age but this is just like good pubs used to be. Proper ham they’ve obviously cooked and carved in house. Everything is clearly cooked to order .
