Not a pleasant experience overall. Doors were left open and there was a hell of a lot of flies , a lot on table and around restaurant.

The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere Port5 Stars in every way. Thanks will be back again soon.....
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortFood was really nice, tasty and really hot in temperature. Service was poor, was asked what drinks we wanted then waited ages as forgot to tell bar staff our order . Waited quite a while for food, longer than expected with amount of people in pub. Finished meal , waited a long time for plates to be taken away, then long wait for dessert. Felt sorry for girl/ woman as seemed to be running around doing everything, other staff didn’t have a clue. Told them to remove service charge as didn’t think it was up to standard they should be doing
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent Sunday roast, couldn’t have been more accommodating for my little boy. Definitely recommend!
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortBeautiful food, great staff and lovely atmostphere. Highly recommend ❤️

The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortNot great experience food took an hour and was really tasteless. Lovely pub nice service just food was really poor.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortWe booked a table on Saturday evening for four of us for a catch up. The service and atmosphere were great and the food was lovely and very well priced! A great selection of drinks and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! 100% will be going back again and can’t wait! Definitely going to try breakfast at the weekends..
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent Sunday lunch, good hot tasty food and excellent service
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortHad a lovely meal at the Cheshire yeoman last Sunday, staff are amazing and attentive, food was lovely, and arrived shortly after ordering. I have read other people's comments regarding the heating, and we did find the same instance in December, however the Restaurant area was nice and warm this time, so no requirement for eating your roast dinner with your coat on. In all great experience.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortBeen a customer here for years always had fab meals, but sad to say something has changed went before Christmas and last Sunday and won’t be back, both times had to sit with coat on as it was so cold, before Christmas they said they had forgot to put heating on obviously this wasn’t true. Sunday the Sunday roast here used to be gorgeous, this time was served on what seems like a child’s plate covered in watery gravy, just very average, will say the very young staff where all lovely and worked hard but sitting in a freezing restaurant with average food doesn’t encourage returning customers, such a shame
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortWe attended Friday, found staff were friendly. Restaurant was cold and multiple people were sat with coats on. Restaurant location has potential but delivery is not yet up to standard. Hopefully feedback will be received positively and improvements implemented
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortIt pains me to leave this review. I've been with my partner at couple of times and the food/atmosphere has been exceptional. Fast forward to 27th December with family. I will start by stating that the staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming. The food was a miss this time, undercooked veg/over cooked roasties on the dinners with poor quality turkey. Mash that had the consistency of smash and taste of stale mash, sausages that clearly weren't 'Butchers' sausage. The staff, as stated were helpful and lovely and were attentive to our needs. Approaching the end of our meal and a man came screaming out of the kitchen, swearing and shouting at staff and knocked over a dining chair. The whole restaurant was in shock. The poor waitress was sobbing after being spoken to like a piece of rubbish, the waiter got his bag and left. Turns out, the member of staff that came screaming out of the kitchen was the owner! He left his staff in tears and shock. The manageress was crying too. A despicable display of power and demeaning staff was on display for all to see. Everyone in my party was in disbelief, as were other patrons in the restaurant. The staff were so distraught that I was compelled to ring them later in the evening to check they were OK. We won't be going again anytime soon.
