DONT BOTHER GOING !!! Food Uncooked - To the Point of Raw. Staff Extreamly Rude and Aggresive when making a valid complaint. Wont be eating here again and will make sure that everyone we know doesnt either ! Will be reporting to Trading Standards.

My wife and I visited today for the first time. We really enjoyed a meal in the tea rooms. The attention from the staff was first class as was the freshly prepared food for which we did not have to wait too long. The farm store itself is stocked with a great variety of good local produce some of which we purchased. We also got a tour of the B&B facilities with prices that are affordable to our relatives visiting from Australia in the near future. We would highly recommend a visit to Hopley House and will definitely be going back for more.

Went last Saturday night, very busy I think booking is essential on weekends and they rang me up in the morning to check I was coming! Good atmosphere if a bit pretentious. Service ok but waitress quite curt. The food is good but fairly pricey for what it is - the mains are cooked beautifully but you have to choose from a fairly boring range of sides, whereas I would rather be served what the chef thinks goes best. We all ended up having chips! More thought should also be given to the 'dessert selection plate' - although good value for sharing we didn't think the four puddings went particularly well together. Nice place, but I wouldn't rush back.

I live close to the jahan and this time last year would probably have said it was my favourite restaurant in the area. What on earth has gone wrong?? We liked it so much last last year that we booked up for New Year's eve which was a complete shambles and we got our money back, along with many others - it was apparent there was no one in charge. Went back last night for the first time. There was one other couple in there at 10.15 on a saturday night. The waiters were so rude I could hardly beleive it! I asked for the candles on the table to be lit, only to be told it was too late to be lighting candles by a very surly waiter who clearly wanted to go home. I will not be going back and judging by the attendance last night many others have made the same decision. Its a real shame because the food is excellent, and the restaurant itself is very nice inside. But there's more to a night in a restaurant that just the food, and I have eaten my last meal in the jahan.

the best pub in the town with the friendliest host and excellent cooking fabulous portions and great selection of beers for the boys and a great wine cellar, nothing bad to say about the pub, even caterers for children and a great touch of cosmetics etc in the ladies too

Top quality food delivered to your door, the food from the bilash beats most Indian restaurants I have been to.

Bilash Indian Takeaway – Warrington

over priced cheap and nasty mix grill over £12 not worth £4 recommend they review the prices and food quality

Edders

This is the best restaurant in Wirral. It is small but the owners are selecting ingredients of the highest standard, cooking them simply and serving them with a pride and care that is rare in most other establishments. There is a very good wine list of Italian wines which are great value

Nice indian restaurant in a nice town, I wasn't expecting it to be busy on a Wednesday night and so decided not to book, when we went in there my family of 7 we waited about 15 minutes for a table, after we was seated the staff were very polite and helpful in choosing the menu. I really enjoyed the meal as i will be returning back. There was a dish which we pick and one of the waiters flames the meal up in brandy which was good to see, the dish was really nice and surprising. thank you very much for looking after my family

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Cottage. We were very impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant and were able to choose from a comprehensive menu. Our evening meals were delicious on both nights, and were cooked to perfection. The staff were both friendly and attentive- nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was also a big success. We felt that the cost of our stay at The Cottage represented extremely good value for money. We shall definitely be making a return visit in the near future

fantastic food!!! We went to celebrate a birthday and we were in a group of 9 people. I'm a vegetarian as is my 9 yr old daughter but we were spoilt for choice at Elements. We've been to many all you can eat buffet restaurants including overseas and I have to put elements top of my list of favourites. Its also extremely great value for money if like my husband you have a big appetite then it will suit you down to the ground. I'm definitely a fan of this place and can't wait to go again, hope this helps someone!

my partner and I went to the midland with no knowledge other than "brewers fayre" It was a pleasant surprise as the food was excellent, the service perfect and very attentive and surroundings were beautiful. we don't rave very often but do complain if need be and this has set a good standard for others !

If you want to treat yourself and your family to a really good Sunday Lunch, you cannot get better than here. The Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pud is as good as the best your mother could make. Probably better than most mother's, but not mine, I come from a family that appreciates and knows about good cooking and that is what you get here. I don't say they never get anything wrong, once I had an overdone (burnt) yorkshire pud, but the beef was perfect, the creamed leeks excellent and the rest of the veg. all you could wish for. I know that was a one off and would happily spend every Sunday here!

Barlounge – Chester

If you want to enjoy a really good Chinese meal in Chester, this is your only option. Do not be put off by the setting, I was for years and consequently missed out for far too long. The tables are very close together and the decor is rather 'kitsch', but the food and service are both great. If you live close by and want to have a takeaway, it isn't a cheap option, but, it is usually ready in 15mins and you will be able to enjoy a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of your own home.
