Clean, friendly, good atmosphere, nice decoration. Food was nice however the pasta dishes are small! Great for snack food ... toasties / sandwiches etc Excellent selection of cakes.

This place is pretty awful, actually. The food is an awful mix of British and foreign (Indian, Chinese etc) cuisine, none of it done particularly well. In addition, when we went the place was practically empty yet it still took around an hour to get our meals.

The demise of a once fine pub continues. Usual shortage of staff and the traditional slow service now complemented by a very rude manager. Food quality seems to depend on who is working in the kitchen when you visit.Avoid this pub at all costs.

WOW quite simply the best meal we have EVER eaten in out lives! I can honestly say that I had goosebumps with every mouthful as the taste was soooo delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection the homecooked thick chips and diane sauce were devine and worth every penny!we ate in the private dining room upstairs which was soooo romantic, the ambience and plush leather sofas were amazing and the service was simply outstanding! we were treated like royalty. I really can't praise this place enough and can't wait to go back! 10 out of 10 just isn't enough as this place is off the scale!!!!

The Lord Clyde has become a favourite of ours, an excellent gastro pub with a welcoming atmosphere. We’ve eaten here with parents and friends on many occasions with not a bad word to say about the place. Black Sheep Bitter and Deuchars are on the pumps and both are kept in excellent condition. The food is all freshly prepared and always excellent. The menu is kept simple and changes every visit. Highly recommend a visit...

very poor cuisine, food often seemed out of date . man would never eat there if last place on earth!!!!!!!

Well, what can I say! The service was abysmal and the food extremely bland. It was hard to tell one dish from another. Also, they have huge, square plates that just about fit on the table, so the dishes can't sit inbetween you and your dining companions opposite, so you have to try and 'dot' them round the table. The only guy 'on the ball' was the waiter dishing out the wine. I used to love this place a few years ago. If you're thinking of Indian food in this area, may I suggest the restaurant in Helsby (3 miles away).

I've been to Duttons twice now & the food has been lovely both times. First time I had a sweet chilli noodle stir fry, yesterday I had the winter stew. Both meals were beautiful & the wine is really reasonable & very nice. I'd recommend Duttons to everyone.

I recently went there for a meal the food was terrible the staff were atrocious the was scruffy as hell not recommended.

I came here with my associates for a Christmas clambake. After chewing over the menu I committed myself to the chicken wings dipped in a rich BBQ sauce and a chicken and green jalapeno 9' inch, pan baked pizza.

Good surroundings, good selection of menu and specials board not to expensive. Waiting on staff appeared disinterested but food OK although plates seemed to be over filled it was mainly veg and not much meat. Overall we had a very pleasant meal.

A wonderful dining experience, we have been many times since moving into the area, every aspect is excellent, food, service, prices represent excellent value for money and the quality is consistently high, in fact we will be back again next Saturday if we can get a table for 6. Lorraine - Leigh

Restaurant appeared to be poorly ran as staff always look seem to walk around in a world of there own. food took a very long time arrive 55min, but was lovely when it did finally arrive lovely pub, lovely food, Very Poor Service Shame
