Had a meal at this restaurant about three weeks ago. Although it was busy the service was good and the food was very good. The bill was reasonable. No complaints whatsoever

Cibo – ChesterTried this newly opened restaurant today food bland - myself and parter only ones dining - looked Like the off duty manager behind the bar in scruffy clothes talking loud enough so we could here his conversation - bought in garlic bread as a side £4.95 - don't think so put me off going again they will need all the luck in the world after my experience today not for me !!
Cibo – ChesterI would like to complain about the classic burger i had on the26/5/13 has both me and my sister had 1 and both thought they tasted more like soya than beef and seeing we wanted a beef burger not a veggie burger we both found them very dissapointing.
The Slug and Lettuce – ChesterJust been out for sunday afternoon walk with wife , daughter and dog along shropshire union canal. called in at bunbury arms for drink and maybe food.. sat in beer garden at back of pub. on way to get drinks both me and wife managed to step in dog business which was in abundance on the grassed areas ( where people were eating). cleaned ourselves up and proceded to get drinks . one pint of san miguel and two lime and sodas (1/2 pints). charged me £7.23 pence. I know the pub trade is having a difficult time at the moment but 7 quid !!!!!. we never bothered with the food. After recommendations of friends was a bit disappointed.
Bunbury Arms – ChesterWhat a change. New owner, new look, but keeping the name. Nice friendly people all the best for the new look Blue Moon.
Blue Moon Cafe – ChesterI thought that it was a very nice place to eat. food was tasty and the restaurant was clean and tidy. staff were friendly and always happy to help.
Buffet City – ChesterI wouldn't normally bother leaving a review, but this place deserves it. Was here a couple of nights go, went to the cinema and popped in here for a meal beforehand. Absolutely excellent. The food was beautiful and they were big portions, lovely atmosphere, so warm and cosy and even the staff were friendly and polite. It's just a shame I live 20 miles away, or I would be here every week!
Bunbury Arms – ChesterHaving had a recommendation for this place we decided to pay it a visit. What a perfect venue for a nice meal. Good choice of menu including the specials board. The staff are friendly and the atmoshere was pleasant. Though quite busy it was still possible to have a conversation without having to shout. The food was both exceptional quality and with a good portion size. We can thoroughly recommend this place and will be returning time and time again

The Grill On Newgate Street – ChesterAbsolutely dire - saw the chef stiring the baked beans to go with my breakfast with his finger and then wiping his hands on a filthy tea towelOver priced at half the menu priceDont bother go to Swankys down the road
Hales of Chester – ChesterWent at the weekend for dinner with a few mates and the place was buzzing. We had some really good steaks and great service.....i always had a beer in front of me and the guys wine glasses were never empty. If you want a great night this is the place to go in Chester. On our way out the manager made a point of saying bye even though he was delivering drinks to a table....what a great place. Go whenever you get the chance.
The Grill On Newgate Street – ChesterDidnt enjoy this place, waitress spent most of her time outside smoking, food wasnt great either for the price we paid
Hales of Chester – Chesterwow wow wow will definitely be back on 27 november 2012
Hickory’s Smokehouse – ChesterAlways like to pop in for a coffee and a snack by the river at the Blue Moon, it is superbly located. I was pleasantly surprised to find Fish Stew on the menu this weekend, so stopped for a little late lunch instead. It was delicious, packed with fishy bits, and superbly tasty. Just like I expected a good mediterranean fish stew to taste like. I like it so much, I asked for the recipe :-). The farmhouse bake was equally delicious. Will definitely be back again.
Blue Moon Cafe – ChesterI visited La Fattoria in Chester on the 29th July 2013 to celebrate my birthday. My family and I were made to feel very welcome by the chatty friendly staff. We all had a three course meal and the portions especially the pasta dishes were very generous and the whole meal was exceptionally good value for money. I will definitely revisit this lovely restaurant.
La Fattoria – Chestervisited last month for family occasion!! decided to try sunday lunch today 05/08/12 it was nice on a family occasion but sunday lunch today was inedible! very disappointed! as a caterer myself i was appalled
A group of 11 of us went to the Bunbury for a colleague's leaving party. We were all very impressed with the quality and quantity of the meals served. The options picked ranged from a greek salad to paella, seared salmon, fish and chips and liver and onions. Everybody enjoyed their choices - freshly cooked and served piping hot. The waitress service was first class. A very good time was had by all and we shall all be returning with our own families. Well done the Bunbury!
