Went on Taco Tuesday night and that is what we chose. Very good value and I thought service was good. Nicely decorated inside and didn’t feel anyone was close. Will go again.

A very good visit to this friendly pub/restaurant. Staff efficient and helpful, food was good and enjoyed by all. I had the chicken hash burger which was tasty , but felt it was not good value for money.

Came for an evening meal as heard positive things so thought we would try it .. although came away quite disappointed and hungry ! Both our meals wasn’t great , steak was fatty and chewy . Service was good

Fabulous 3 course Valentines meal. Lovely decorated table and staff were so helpful and friendly. Good singer too. This pub has a great atmosphere, a true country pub with excellent food

Had an excellent Sunday roast, great service very polite staff, quick service. The roast beef was very tender served with seasonal veg,gravy and yorkshire pudding. Have been visiting here for some years now and have always had wonderful food and service. Highly recommend. Great place in the summer too, as have lovely outdoor facilities for families with children.

When eating out for Sunday Lunch I think most people judge it by whether it tastes like a "pub Sunday Lunch" or a "home cooked Sunday Lunch" and all I can say is that the Codrington Arms definitely comes under the home cooked bracket, excellent food and very attentive staff who could not have done anymore for us, will be going back that's for sure !!

Fantastic Sunday lunch! It’s always worrying trying a new place for a roast, but the Codrington Arms absolutely delivered — generous portions and beautifully cooked meat. I’ll definitely be returning.

Excellent service, good food & lovely Christmas atmosphere for our works Christmas meal for 8 of us.

This was a Xmas lunch for our club of 25 ladies. The food was amazing and tables decorated beautifully. Also excellent service. Can’t fault it.

We used to eat here alot pre convid and also during covid for take aways, though we would try again, wasnt welocmed immediatly so thats was intially disappoint, resturan semmed bleak and lacked atmosphere, table wasnt overly clean, no one came over to take a drinks order so we headed to the bar, drinks service was quick, gain it took a while for someone to come over and take our food order and they seemed nice enough perhaps inexperienced... cant fault the food it was the tasiest sunday dinner we had in a while and plentyiful, table took a while to clear and we had to go and pay the bill at the bar, perhaps they should have a more experienced attentive member of staff helping the young ones!

Six of us enjoyed a lovely meal last Tuesday. Service was friendly and good, food hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

We didn’t know the pub before booking it as we were travelling from some distance. It didn’t look particularly special from outside but inside it was beautifully decorated and cosy. The food was all amazing 3 cleared plates for both our mains and desserts. Very good value too. Would highly recommend

Booking for 5 adults, starters were poor and not served in a very presentable way. Main courses were above average, 2 burger and chips served without no salad carnish. Mix seafood platter was served nicely and was very tasty. Asked for 2 liqueur coffees and they were very poor. They didn’t even look like a liqueur coffee. Retuned one off them due to it being cold and the replacement one was no better. Waitress was very pleasant and did her best. Once tried never forgotten, want be rushing back anytime soon.
