Food here is always consistently excellent so it was another yummy meal out for us. I had the aubergine parmigiana for a starter, absolutely delicious. We have our favourite ‘go to’ meal choices but we really must make an effort to try something different from the menu! Staff are always very attentive and you’re never left without a drink for long. We visited on a Sunday for a change, it was a nice relaxed vibe.

Fabulous Food &Service. Visited Sunday afternoon with my partner & 3 year old granddaughter. The young waiter was polite & attentive, noticed we needed a smaller spoon for littler hands & was straight on it. The food was hot & very tasty, 3 clean plates. The childs meal was great value, a drink, a main & an ice cream for £7. My partner ordered the lamb & the waitress ensured he was aware it was lamb belly so can be fatty, which he was fine with, great customer service. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and service here, only gave 4/5 for atmosphere due to it being quiet as it was Sunday lunchtime All the portions were more than adequate and we could not manage pudding even though the cabinet that housed all the sweets looked amazing Well worth a visit as there is so much on the menu to choose from

A fantastic friendly restaurant.with a great atmosphere. We had my Dad's 90th there and took my mum out for her birthday meal there. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious.

We had a delicious meal as always. The staff are so friendly, warm and can’t do enough for you. We will be visiting again very soon.

Food was good especially the cauliflower starter. Pizza relatively small which was fine for our 3 course menu. Front of house manager was brusque bordering on rude which spoilt the atmosphere a bit for us.

This was our first visit to Riley's and we weren't disappointed . I loved the atmosphere of the place and the decor was excellent.. To start I had a pint of Hawkstone Black ( Stout ) which was delicious and my wife had the Provence Rose what ch she really enjoyed. The menu is limited but we knew that before we went. We had the chicken tenders between us for starters and then we both had a pizza each. The food was fabulous , really good quality. Finally a mention for the two blokes behind the bar who were both very welcoming and engaging. We will definitely be back .

The Italian Cottage is by far the best place to eat in Chorley. The food is always excellent, freshly cooked, and full of flavour, with friendly, welcoming service every time. The Sunday 3-course menu is fantastic value for money and offers a great choice of dishes. Every course is delicious, and the quality is consistently outstanding. If you’re looking for a great Italian restaurant in Chorley, I couldn’t recommend The Italian Cottage highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous restaurant, food is excellent and all the staff are happy and helpful. Our server Rhys made the night. Such a happy guy, always a smile on his face and very attentive to the guests needs. He is a credit to the establishment.
