Lovely meal (as always!) Restaurant was fairly quiet (world cup was on!!) So was nice and quiet! Great staff. Might have been better to spread the customers around instead of everyone being put together in one part of the restaurant?

Went for lunch with a friend. Nice atmosphere, the lunch menu was good value, food hot and tasty. Service excellent, attentive but not overpowering, pleasant friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about Riley’s is incredible - atmosphere, location, food, prices and staff but for us it’s the real attention to detail in the quality of the drinks, particularly for us the wine menu but our friends and family are as delighted with the cocktails and the beer menu! Simply class!!!

Booked a table for 2 to have a small platter and wine. Flights (wine) were ok although stopped serving a Rose flight. Food took over 40 minutes to arrive which as the place not overly busy was annoying. Quality of cold platters good but not sure if we would return again soon.

It's a while since I have been but the food was as excellent as always, the pate is amazing, the lasagne the best of any Italian restaurant I have ever been to and I can highly recommend the Caffe Viennese dessert. My co-diners loved their choices too. The atmosphere was lovely, although we were surprised to find it a lot quieter than expected for a Saturday night, possibly the cost of living is biting, although maybe people were in pubs or at home watching the football. The service, as always, was friendly, polite and efficient, we were not rushed but empty plates were tidied away promptly, and someone was readily on hand if required. This has always been my go to for Italian food and tonight did not disappoint. Servings are good sized and at around £30/£35 each for a 3 course meal with drinks I don't feel it is overpriced.

Went to Papa Luigi’s Euxton Sun 28th June, thought we would treat ourselves in all honesty food was pretty basic. Calamari ok mushrooms looked very well done. Roast dinner was very good & pizza, I ordered seafood pasta. In all honesty there was more chilli in it than seafood, I think there were 3 mussels one of which was closed so couldn’t eat it anyway so 2 mussels, 2 bite size pieces of salmon and about 10 clams so not great really oh yeah 1 prawn not up to the usual standards. atmosphere terrible miserable looking staff very slow service.

Another excellent meal and service at Papa Luigis. A high standard of food and service has always been the ethos at Papa’s.

Overall it was a really lovely evening. We got our drinks order taken straight away and then the starters arrived quickly, the meatballs and calamari are amazing. Main meals were also great and all food arrived nice and hot. Reasonably priced and a good spot. Will be returning.

Brilliant meal Fabulous service Staff are fantastic

We visited Verdes on 20/06 for a meal with friends. The food was ok although I found it a little expensive. The setting is beautiful and the staff who served us were very friendly and helpful. However our evening was spoiled by the manager/owner shouting and banging plates at his kitchen staff. This was very visible to us as we were seated right near the kitchen area. He made us feel very uncomfortable and it was so unprofessional. He thought that screaming at his staff and banging plates on the pass was acceptable. We had young children with us and it was inappropriate. No apology and the younger staff seemed very embarrassed by his behaviour.
