Lovely meal and staff. Great atmosphere too

On Sunday the 28th September my wife and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon and meal at Verdes. My only reservation was that I felt that the Beef Strogonoff was a little bland, although my palette could be at fault for this. However my wife was highly delighted with her Salmon and baby shrimps

What a truly lovely place to eat. We travelled up from Hampshire for the weekend and Verdes was recommended to us. The food was delicious, hot and served quickly once ordered. The staff were very welcoming and really looked after us. It was lovely to meet who we think was the owner. Overall what a lovely restaurant, would highly recommend. Helen

Had a meal for 2 sunday lunchtime. My hubby was 60 so celebrating. Service perfect. Very friendly. Beautiful decor and nice atmosphere. Hubby had chicken livers to start which he raved about and a delicious pizza. We shared a delicious garlic bread. I ate off the sunday lunch menu. Garlic mushrooms were amazing. A little disappointed with pollo alla crema main course, the roast potatoes werent crispy, seemed reheated and had no flavour. The chicken and sauce a little bland. Veg was lovely. Tiramisu for dessert lacked any flavour at all. The food which was Italian was amazing and we will stick to Italian Fayre next time as Papas excels at pizza and pasta dishes. Been going to this restaurant since it opened over 30 years ago,always been welcomed over the years,food and atmosphere always good,new manager Salvatore so good with customers and staff,a pleasure to spend a couple of hours there.Young staff very friendly,pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic food , brilliant staff , just love everything about verdes

Our visit was cut short as one of our party was feeling unwell, we asked for a quite corner which was just perfect, food was brill, lovely place, nice atmosphere, we will return.

Fantastic! We headed to Verdes for a birthday celebration with my partners and turned it into a bit of a date night. The food was fresh and delicious, and the table service was top-notch throughout.

My wife and I had really nice evening on Tuesday, the food was excellent, restaurant atmosphere was great, staff where friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming again, thankyou everyone.

We had the pleasure of Sarah and the team providing us with stunning outside catering choices and a birthday cake for my daughters 21st birthday on 19/09! As with every order with Bees country kitchen...their food is delicious, excellent customer service and contact impeccable. I will be returning again and again and again! If you haven't already eaten at Bees or enjoyed their outside catering I encourage you to do so! You are missing out!

Recently moved to the area, and so pleased to have found this restaurant on our door step. What a find, great prices, great food with a wide range of choices matched with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Look forward to many more visits.

lovely meal, excellent service, lovely atmosphere as always

It was our daughter’s 11th birthday. We brought the cake and the staff were happy to serve it with a birthday song. Fantastic food, great service and fabulous staff. Credit all round.
