my husband, my friend and i booked Verdes last minute on a Wednesday night. We had a great evening. Good food and friendly staff. I expected we’d just have a quick meal and get home….but the atmosphere was good and we decided to make night of it. We brought half the pizza home in a box. It was too much, but a good marinara. I had chicken in peppercorn sauce (delicious) and the other meal was beef stroganoff. All very good.

Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe are regular customers and have yet to have a bad meal. This was a Sunday lunch visit and the place was not overcrowded. Our fish based meals were very good although one was rather swimming in sauce. The deserts were very good again. As always the staff were a delight and we continue to recommend PLs to anyone.

Large selection of beers and wine, staff always on hand for recommendations. Even had a walk up to the sister bar, Rileys Loft for a few cocktails, my favourite being the cherry old fashioned.

Food quality is good, despite the large portion sizes which can sometimes be daunting for us seniors! The service is exemplary with a friendly welcome whenever we visit.
